  • Distribute the remaining dough either on a baking sheet or in a deep frying pan. You can use baking paper, you can just grease the pan with butter.
  • This time I wanted a thinner dough, more filling, so a baking sheet was chosen. I covered it with baking paper, rolled the dough right on the baking sheet, like this

  • Then you need to grease with any thick jam or jam, I like not very sweet, apple. Layer thickness - to taste, it took me 0.5 liters of jam

Only in my pie does the butter melt (less hassle, but I think the effect is the same) and sour cream is not added. Yes, one more point. Baked with margarine and butter. With oil, both smell and taste are definitely better. And with margarine there is no such creamy note.

In my family, this recipe has been grandmother's since the pre-war years. With what filling they did then - I don't know. In my Soviet childhood, my grandmother made exclusively with lemons. Here on such a large baking sheet, as the author Tinochka in the photo, take 2 medium lemons. We pass them through a meat grinder entirely together with the zest, add 2/3 cup of sugar to them, mix slightly, do not achieve complete dissolution of sugar.
Then everything is according to the recipe - three frozen dough ball on a grater on top of the filling ...
Lemon juice bakes wonderfully without any starch. Unusually delicious cake! Yes, in our family he lives under the name "Hedgehog"
