Ingredients

For shortbread

soft margarine (butter) 75 gr.
flour, premium 90 gr.
sugar 3 tbsp. l.
mayonnaise 1 tbsp. l.
For the base of citrus-mint layers 1 and 2
condensed milk 1 can - 380 gr
lime is not large 3 pcs.
lemon is not large 3 pcs.
flour, premium 1.5 tbsp. l. with a slide
eggs C-2 4 pieces
dried or fresh mint 3-4 tbsp. l. with a slide or 3/4 cup fresh leaves
turmeric 0.3 tsp

Cooking method

  • Cooking shortbread
  • Turn on the oven 180 degrees to heat up.
  • Put the cracker in a blender bowl with a knife. I have such Cakes with mint and citrus.
  • There are exactly 20 pieces per 100 grams. Grind into powder.
  • Then add the rest of the ingredients there - sugar, mayonnaise, flour and soft margarine (or butter). Put the resulting crumbs in a greased form, tamping tightly. I have this glass dish with 5 cm edges and 26 cm diameter.

  • We put in the oven to bake until golden brown - do not burn! It took me 15 minutes.

  • Again, pour the condensed milk into the blender bowl and break 3 eggs, add flour. We mix. Then we remove the zest from the lemons and send it to the milk-egg mixture. Remove the zest from the limes and set aside. Now you can squeeze the juice out of the limes and lemons and pour into a blender. Mix everything and pour into another bowl - this is the basis for the layers. Leave a little mass in the bowl and - a couple of spoons - for easy mixing.

  • Mint goes into the bowl, 1/2 lime squeezed out of juice
  • I used dried mint. But of course fresh pepper is better. Chop everything well with knives. Then add the remaining egg, lime zest. Beat.
  • Add here a little less than half of the base (after all, we have already taken a couple of spoons - we will take this into account).

  • By this time, the cake is baked. We take it out and pour layer 1 on top.

  • We send it to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. So that the top hardens.

  • Add turmeric to the remaining base. When the dough is ready, add the last layer and bake until tender.

  • Immediately after baking, the cake rises a lot, but then flattens out. Therefore, take out first on the door of the switched off oven. For some reason, the color did not appear - the top turned out to be very yellow.

  • I put the remaining halves of limes and lemons in a cleaned blender bowl and beat together with butter, a drop of rum and sugar to taste. Transfer to a jar and freeze. Then I form a ball and serve with the cakes.
