Ingredients

Red fish (fillet) - 500 g.
Medium beet - 1 PC.
Sugar - 1 stack.
Coarse salt - 1 stack.
Ground pepper - taste

Cooking method

  • 1. Remove the skin from the fish fillet. If the fish is oily enough, it can be easily done by hand. If the skin is difficult to remove, use a knife to help.
  • 2. Rub the beets on a fine grater.
  • 3. Add salt.
  • 4. And granulated sugar.
  • 5. Add a mixture of ground peppers.
  • 6. Mix thoroughly.
  • 7. Continue kneading for about 3 minutes. During this time, the beets should give a lot of juice.
  • 8. Take a suitable tray and put half of the beetroot mixture in it.
  • 9. Put the fish on top and cover with the remaining mixture.

  • 10. Carefully level, cover with foil and leave in the refrigerator for at least 10 hours.
  • 11. We wash the finished fish.
  • 12. Cut into slices and serve as a cold snack. If you serve the fish immediately, we advise you to lightly grease it with vegetable oil, so the fish will be softer. But if possible, leave the finished and washed fish to lie under the film in the refrigerator for another day. The fish fillet will then become much more tender.

Note

my mistakes:
Salt regretted, I thought it would be too much. Feel free to pour a full glass.
Marinated in a tight container, the juice did not penetrate all places.
