Milk with blueberries and strawberries

Ingredients

Milk is cold 250 ml.
Sugar to taste
Blueberry 2 rounded tablespoons
Strawberry 1 tablespoon

Cooking method

  • I don’t know what to call this dish!
  • Who is the author of the recipe too ...
  • But I remember him as much as myself. Well, pancakes with mint strawberries and sugar ...
  • I think everyone knows this dish. It comes from there ... where the parents are young, where the toys and the bike ... the beloved lilac under the window ... the trees in the yard are so huge ... It's a pity there are no emoticons ...
  • The berries were from the market more often. But sometimes I was woken up very early and we went to the station at dawn. The whole family gathered: mom, dad, grandmother and me. They gave me a can. Blue with a cap. They put on rubber boots and were sure to wear a large panama hat. My grandmother was always afraid of ticks. How I hated this Panama.
  • And then we drove. Everyone in the car was dozing. And I was looking out the window. Then we walked again for a long time. Finally we entered a large forest. There was a sea of blueberries ... The rule was simple: I took a can - free! By the black tongue, my mother immediately determined that I ate more. Mom always went to strawberries. Dad did not pick berries, but ran for mushrooms. But my grandmother .. Beloved, dear, dear grandmother .. Ah, if you knew with what love I am now writing about you ... She always poured her berries into my can, and I rushed to my mother with a proud look. And then we definitely dined in the forest together. I don't remember what, but it was exactly the same just fat... cucumbers, boiled eggs. It was very interesting to eat them with blueberry-black hands - there were stains from the fingers.
  • In the evening we got home.
  • And then my mother took out milk, poured sugar and I loaded the berries there. And a leaf was sure to come across ... We never collected with a combine. How delicious it was ... And the aroma ...
  • In general, that's the whole recipe.
  • What to serve with the dish? And serve my panama hat ... and a can ...

Ooh, thanks for the memories !!! Although I didn’t like picking berries ... But I adored eating) Everything was one to one, except for Panama and my grandmother (usually three of us went, and my mother poured berries into my can - she has the highest category in the speed of picking berries))) For lunch, we also had potatoes in their uniforms))) And on the way back and at home, I liked to take off the bandage from the can and poke my nose into it - my head was already dizzy from the berry spirit.
And I dreamed not of the roar of the cosmodroooom, but of red-blue berries!

Today I told the children about picking berries in the forest. It is a pity that there is no car ... But we didn’t have one either. Somehow everything was different. Yes, and there was no such market ... And now I went: and gooseberries, and raspberries, and strawberries, and blueberries ... it’s more expensive. But my children won't have a can then ..

I ate blueberries in my childhood to my heart's content, because my whole family comes from the Kaluga region, from the very heart of the Ugra National Park. There are as many blueberries as I have never seen anywhere else in my life. And forest raspberries (this, I can tell you, raspberries!)), And wild strawberries, and porcini mushrooms. I recognize the blueberry bush just with my eyes closed. They put on a jacket made of thick tarpaulin (it was called a wind jacket), a hat or scarf, boots and pants. And not even because of ticks (although they were sometimes met), but because of the wild amount of mosquitoes in swamps and blueberries. And there were a lot of bears and other large animals are still found there. Sometimes people came across bears on the burned-out areas (these are burnt-out areas of the forest, which for some reason were first overgrown with wild raspberries), sometimes bears go to the edge of the city, because it is just in the forest.
So we never ate blueberries with milk. Never ever. Grandma pounded blueberries with strawberries in a bowl of sugar (I just see her kitchen, a metal enamelled kitchen and a crush - 100 years all the same, painfully familiar))) and then she could sometimes! add cream, if any. It is cream, girls, these are two big differences - cream and milk. By the way, try it with cream, you will like it, I guarantee. This is my favorite combination with berries (strawberries, raspberries). But pour, of course, not as much as pouring milk, but simply to whiten a little. And since there was rarely cream in the store, most often no one poured anything there and we just smeared blueberries or blueberries / strawberries crushed with sugar on a fresh loaf (a piece of loaf) and ate, closing our eyes with pleasure!))) Here ...

And nothing like that, we always tied up .... old torn nylon tights !! They are elastic, so they tied them up perfectly and tightly, and did not overtighten them. It was very convenient.))) And yes, always with cans, yeah. Enamelled and just aluminum ... Oh, golden childhood ...

about! it was a strategically important wardrobe item. Firstly, it was a huge deficit and they were sewn up and worn to the end! and then they became - rags for washing the bath! or what else ... and more often it was stockings. but the cans were tied with belts.

We, too, only I, with such a can, collected raspberries in my garden. could not stand this occupation
Chucha and me under the window (we lived in the 4th floor) they forced to weed the flowerbed. So until the age of 25, I believed that poking around in the ground was not mine. Until life threw me and my husband into an urban village. I plowed such a vegetable garden there! And on that flower bed dahlias were growing - a bush like a jasmine - all covered with scarlet flowers. From everywhere they went to my mother to ask for his bulb. Well, or what he is breeding there .. How I did not see him !!
And now I remember ...
Chuchundrus
I now have very little raspberries growing and currants are almost worn out too, but all because of childhood memories So hunting on the street, and they plant you under a currant bush, you could only get away with playing the piano, but I hated playing music even more

Ikra
Eh, and to me a "vigorous cow" a house with a garden is not given in sensations. From an early age I loved to pick berries myself. Once upon a time we had a house with a garden on the outskirts of Moscow, and in the morning, while my grandmother was kindling the stove, I went with my can to the garden for berries, so that then everyone would eat for breakfast. Then this house was broken down, the garden was filled up when the railway embankment was widened, and grandfather and grandmother, from the bounty of the state, were given a one-room apartment as much as 16 meters.
