Ingredients

Processed cheese 1
Dill 1/2 bundle

Cooking method

  • This cheese soup is also called French. I don't know how French it is, but there are many interpretations of it. And I cook it like that!
  • The recipe is designed for a small number of servings, namely 2 liters of water. It is easy to prepare, like an ordinary simple soup, but with a slight caveat
  • Before cooking, take the processed cheese and put it in the freezer. This is necessary in order for it to rub well on a grater.
  • Broth (cook for 20-30 minutes): put the breast, bay leaf, peppercorns and salt. But I also usually put my secret ingredient. It's an onion, cut in half and fried in a skillet without oil until a charred crust forms. Be sure to try any first course this way. It gives the broth some kind of unique flavor!
  • Put finely chopped onion and carrots grated on a coarse grater into the finished boiling broth. After 10 minutes, put the potatoes, cut into large cubes. When the potatoes are half cooked, we take the cheese out of the freezer and rub it on a coarse grater.
  • When the potatoes are ready, add finely chopped dill and garlic, and turn off the stove. Let the soup brew and the cheese melt until the end.

Very good soup in the heat just, I often did this. Only the chicken breast was replaced with slightly fried minced meat with tomatoes.
