Ingredients

1st layer:
cottage cheese 5% or more 700 gr.
semolina 2 tbsp. l.
eggs 2 pcs.
sugar 3-4 tbsp. l.
2nd layer:
sour cream 300 gr.
sugar 2-3 st. l.
eggs 1 PC.
vanilla sugar 1 sachet

Cooking method

  • I want to share with you my favorite casserole. I have been baking it for many years, it is very easy to prepare and incredibly tender and very tasty. If desired, raisins, dried apricots, prunes or other dried fruits can be added to the 1st layer, but my children do not like too much, so I cook without everything.
  • For casseroles, a detachable silicone mold is most suitable, but you can safely replace it with a regular silicone one (only you will need to remove it carefully by picking it up with a wide spatula) or use the usual split mold after laying it out with paper.
  • Turn on the oven and preheat it to 170C.
  • Cottage cheese (if with grains, then punch with a blender), eggs, semolina, sugar, mix until smooth.
  • Two-layer curd casserole
  • Pour into a mold (I have a diameter of 20 cm.) And smooth with a spatula, put in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, stir in sour cream, egg, sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth.

  • After 30 minutes, pour the sour cream layer onto the casserole

  • The sour cream layer will resemble jelly, if the form is slightly shaken, this will indicate that it is baked.

  • Take the casserole out of the oven, the most important thing is not to remove it from the mold until it cools completely, cool on the table, then put it in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours, you can put it in the freezer for 1 hour.
  • After the casserole has cooled completely, it can be very easily removed from the mold. If desired, it can be decorated with fruits or berries and served with various sauces, or you can arrange fruits like a cake on top, decorate with chocolate sticks on the sides, but it is also very tasty in its pure form.
