Cooking method

  • Finally my tagine arrived, I need to cook something urgently. What to cook?
  • Let there be chicken and vegetables. In general, the first experiment
  • The chicken was washed, dried and cut into pieces. The back, the tips of the wings, left on the broth.
  • Tazhin, the lower part of it, put it on the gas stove, on the divider and turned on the medium fire.
  • I poured olive oil and fried the onions a little. I added chopped champignons and chopped garlic, mixed and cooked for several minutes under the lid. Then I added finely chopped ginger, chicken spices, cumin, some finely chopped hot peppers.

  • I wanted to put pieces of chicken in tagine, fry a little, but somehow the mushrooms interfered with me and I fried it in a slow cooker.
  • I put the fried chicken pieces, potatoes, Bulgarian pepper in pieces, several broccoli flowers, eggplant and salted lemon in pieces into the tagine.

  • Salted, added some spices, covered and cooked for 30 minutes over medium heat.

During the period of my passion for tagine, I salted them, but did not cut them. Used for different dishes afterwards.
Try dried fruit chicken in tagine, and it also works very well with chickpeas.
