Hello everyone. I decided to unsubscribe, maybe the information will be useful to someone. It all started with the urgent recommendation of a gastroenterologist to consume yogurt. He even wrote out the recipe with the name of the leaven, but I sowed it, I have to go to him again. Anyway...
I was puzzled by the choice of a yogurt maker, but I did not find anything worthwhile (in my understanding) on sale. Small jars, not optimal, often not adjustable, and generally it is not clear what the temperature is, uneven fermentation, and a lot of complaints about the existing assortment of stores.
For a couple of days I thought ... a bread maker caught my eye, an old Panasonic, in principle a worker but with a shabby bucket. And it's a pity to throw it away, and the farm has a new stove for a long time. Further I will not describe all the experiments that I conducted with her, I will offer the final design. I will try to describe it in the most accessible language. Everything was done on the knee from what was at hand.
To begin with, I took apart the entire oven and washed it. Finally all! Ten left in the building. I put an E14 cartridge (for a light bulb from a refrigerator) into an aluminum part at the bottom of the case. Everything was simple, with pliers and nippers, I picked out a hole for the cartridge (there is a thin and fragile metal) on the side, inserted the cartridge there and covered it and all the holes with cold welding. For everything about everything 10 minutes. Well, we put it back in the case.

Then I cut out the fan bottom holder from the tin. The edges rests on the ten. From the sides I cut and bent the petals. I made a hole in the middle and connected a fan (cooler from the computer) 80 * 80. There are a lot of options here, the main thing is to make the bottom with an installed fan blowing on the lamp, well, and provide holes for air circulation on the sides.

Next, I need a grate for containers with yogurt, I came across the back wall of the refrigerator (radiator) from it and cut it out. In principle, you can also adapt anything, the main thing is not to interfere with air circulation and protect the fan.

In principle, mechanically, that's all. Now you need to ensure the temperature regime. A lamp is used as a heater. 15 watts turned out to be not enough, approached 25. The fan evenly distributes heat throughout the volume. You need a temperature regulating device.
There are also many solutions, as in the Atrus theme "Universal yogurt maker and not only" on the basis of the IRT-200 thermostat, and I will describe my own.
As a re-regulator, I used a device from aliexpress. Yoghurt maker from ... bread machine

This is the whole structure; to power the regulator and the fan, you need a 12 volt power supply of low power. It is easily bought in any stall selling chargers for phones and hides in the bowels of the case. Take at least 500 mA, better even more, and better quality. Well, it is not a sin for the sophisticated to solder the stabilized power supply themselves. It is difficult to describe the scheme of all connections, although it is elementary. Those who are not familiar with the basics of electricians do not really recommend doing it themselves, there is 220 V., ask a knowledgeable one. And be sure to connect the ground wire when connecting the power cable.
Before assembly, I pasted 4 mm on the outside of the case. self-adhesive insulation (you can see a piece on the 4th photo on the compartment for additions to the dough. The bread machine's native display is not used in any way.
That's all! It turned out to be a yogurt maker. We can set any desired temperature with an accuracy of 0.1 degrees. The temperature is not reset when disconnected from the mains.
I bought these in the subway as jars:

For 250 and 500 grams.
This is how 1 liter in these jars looks like in a yogurt maker

Well, the result:

I would be glad if someone liked it, which is not clear - ask
Kara
And your "yogurt maker" now how does a bread maker work?
vlad1252
No, of course, everything was removed, only the body remained.
Kara
To be honest, how much did the upgrade cost you?
vlad1252
Thermostat 200r, the rest was on the farm. If there is nothing, then probably 500-600, including even a wire, electrical tape and a light bulb with a cartridge ... Without cans of course

It was a good HP, even with a shabby bucket, it works great, the old woman could be sold for 3-4 thousand rubles. Good, I do not argue, working almost the same new. I read the topics on the links ..
I needed a structurally and aesthetically finished device, compact enough for permanent residence in the kitchen and with the possibility of easy transportation and use, for example, in the country. I'm not saying that I created an ideal, but I am completely satisfied with both the functionality and appearance.
Practically only a case from HP, with the same success you can make a yogurt maker from any object: from a cardboard box and a saucepan to a TV and a microwave. There was just HP, and it was fine. And selling it for 4000 is fantastic, and I don’t need it ...

vlad1252, an interesting notion. I have just the same HP working at home (for now, according to the purpose of t-t-t)

I liked the idea and implementation! I wonder if it is possible to adapt a mechanically controlled airfryer to maintain the temperature? Or will the timer get in the way?
vlad1252
The farm has never had an aero grill. But I can assume that in addition to the timer there will be problems with the heating element - the standard one is too powerful, and with a large thermal inertia (if there is a heating element). I tried to heat it with a standard HP heater. After turning off the heater, it continues to give off heat for a long time, as a result, the temperature rose to 60 degrees when the thermostat was set to 39. If the heater is an open spiral, then it is easily selected by rewinding to the required power. And the fan is most likely there with an excess of power and performance ... but if you wish, everything is possible ..

I was always amazed how people can be so inventive. It's easier for me to buy ready-made, and I never would have thought that it is possible to change one device so radically, making it completely different.

Peace be with you bakers!
My neighbor's quail eggs hatch

Well, in short - a foam box, a light bulb / reflector / cooler, a thermometer.

Constant temperature 38 degrees
