Microwave-dried spicy plums (experiment)

Spicy dried plums in the microwave (experiment)

Ingredients

Plum about 11 pieces
Ground spice mixture: taste
cinnamon, ginger, black and white peppers, allspice, nutmeg, rosemary, thyme
Coarse sea salt 2 tsp
Brown sugar (can be white) 2 tsp
Garlic 2-3 teeth
Olive oil (vegetable)

Cooking method

  • I decided to try to cook dried plums in a micra. I read all the recipes for sun-dried tomatoes on the site, as well as some of the Internet about sun-dried plums. I decided to experiment.
  • My plum is blue. Already overripe. Does not want to separate from the bone. Cut with a knife. Very juicy.
  • Wash the plums and dry them. We cover the micro plate with two layers of paper towels. We spread the halves of the plums. I have 22 halves. Not choking, but tight.
  • In a cup, mix all the spices, salts and sugar, add garlic squeezed through a press and olive oil. We mix everything well, even grind it. With this mixture we fill the middle of the plums without fanaticism.

  • We put a plate in a mikra, power 800 for 2 minutes. After the end of the time, open the door and wait 5 minutes.

  • Then for another 2 minutes. Wait 5 minutes again. Then we run the micra for another 5 minutes and then we take out the plate on the table. We leave for 20-30 minutes.

  • Now we need to shift the plums, remove our paper towels. They have already absorbed a lot of moisture and will interfere with us. Carefully transfer the plums to a clean teatka. Wash the micro dish and dry it. Then you can cook on a dinner plate placed on a mikra plate.

  • Now ATTENTION !!!! it is very important not to overdry the plums. So that they just wilted.
  • I turned it on for 4 minutes at once. Then she let me rest for 10 minutes on the table. And another minute for "just in case".
  • Here's what happened in the end.
  • Spicy dried plums in the microwave (experiment)
  • Well, now, of course, it would be necessary to put them in a jar, fill them with fragrant oil and let them marinate well in the refrigerator for at least 5-6 hours.
  • But I didn't have the patience for that. I cut off a piece of fresh buckwheat bread from Angela, sprinkled it with olive oil, sprinkled with thyme and laid out the cream and a slice of mozzarella, poured more butter on it .... BE OUCH !!!! DELICIOUS!

    World zakuson!

Note

Now I share my observations. The entire composition of spices and salt, as well as the cooking time, are absolutely approximate. Since the sweetness and juiciness of the plum directly depends. Several halves, which had less pulp, were slightly baked.
I have a little bitter plum, I would say. Therefore, sugar was not enough for me. Saved soy sauce poured onto a sandwich.
Spicy-sour-sweet taste,
It is advisable to cook them when you are doing something in the kitchen to observe them.
Of the minuses: of course not enough. But if there are still microwave dishes, then you can flow - some are cooked, some are ripening.
I will try again. I hope to find allies.
With love, Tumanchik

The idea is good, but if the drain is full, what to do? Maybe take the idea of spicy plums and try to make it in the oven like sun-dried tomatoes. But I will definitely try to eat in the micra.

Irishka, the result is great! They got it - they didn't notice. Well, mush, of course, with meat. And I’m with cheese. Thank you; as long as there are live prunes, I will certainly cook.

Irina, today I bought a plum for testing, did not like it, I remembered about your recipe in the bookmarks. Already tried
(by the way, also with buckwheat bread only from Yana) Tasty, just a little too much salt. I will repeat! Thanks for the experiment!

Low bow for the recipe.
I went into the store and saw a Hungarian plum. I got 20 stronger things. I also bought dry garlic and ground red paprika there.
And I went ... to the office. We have a kitchenette with a microwave oven.
Well, it's not hard to guess further. Fortunately, I am at work, temporarily, I live alone and the breathtaking smell of garlic did not disturb any of my colleagues. ...
It turned out very tasty. It is impossible to limit oneself to one braid.
I am considering putting on stream.
