Squash cake

Ingredients

Zucchini (medium) 4 pieces
Eggs 2 pieces
Kefir 1 glass
Flour 8 Art. heaped spoons
Soda 1 tsp
Processed cheese 200 g
Soy sauce 3 tbsp. spoons
Mayonnaise 200g
Garlic 6 teeth
Greens lot

Cooking method

  • Wash the squash and grate, squeeze well.
  • Add eggs and kefir.
  • Stir in the processed cheese. If the cheese is hard (in relation to processed cheese it sounds strange) - grate it.
  • Add soy sauce. Pour in flour mixed with baking soda and stir. The consistency should be like a pancake. If it's watery, add flour.
  • Fry the cakes in a frying pan in vegetable oil. I usually get the first pancake, as they say, lumpy. Then I add flour and from the second or third pancake everything goes like clockwork.
  • Mix mayonnaise with garlic. Chop the herbs.
  • Grease each cake with a thin layer of mayonnaise and sprinkle with herbs. I really like the basil in this cake. It gives a special taste. Try it.
  • P.s. Since the cakes take a long time to bake, I always make this cake in between. That is, I cook something and bake cakes along the way and it turns out not at all time consuming. And if you only deal with this cake, it will take a lot of time.

I made this cake once again and forgot to add garlic to mayonnaise. I was upset, I thought it would be completely bland. But it turned out not. The result was very surprising. Thanks to the herbs (alternating dill, parsley and basil), the cake has a very delicate and harmonious taste. Friends (who have repeatedly eaten it with garlic) said that without garlic, the cake is no worse, but simply different and I agree with them. Now I will do this and that.
