Philips HD9046. Wheat-rye bread with honey and seeds

Ingredients

wheat flour 400 g
Rye flour 100 g
malt 2 tsp
mustard oil 1 tbsp. l.
honey 1 tbsp. l.
liquid (water, milk, whey) 330 ml
dry yeast (Saf) 1 + 1/4 tsp
sunflower seeds 50 g
salt 1.5 tsp.

Cooking method

  • Pour boiling water over the malt and stir well. Cover and leave to brew. There is enough water to make the malt look like thick sour cream.
  • Liquid: I made 100 ml of varenets from the refrigerator + 230 ml of warm water. Salt was stirred there too.
  • According to the instructions, liquids first go into my stove: pour out the liquid, add the malt and honey oil. Pour in the rye flour. Then wheat and seeds.
  • It rises well, it turns out lush and soft, with a pleasant taste. Almost no honey is felt.

Very cool bread. It turned out the first time and all the times how much it baked. Wonderfully crispy and fluffy but not dry. My family cannot be driven away from the kitchen until they have eaten a loaf))) I also added pumpkin seeds and coriander, and walnuts as an option, but with seeds just ideal. The only thing I want is to add some more malt. Thank you for the recipe.

Thank you for such a review, very nice

Pumpkin seeds - must be delicious. More malt is possible, but then it will be darker and the taste will be brighter (sharper). For an amateur, in general. And so - any recipe is a reason to experiment. So, good luck!

Sombra, Thank you! I have with this bread as in that joke "... tomorrow I'll go again!"))) Today walnut + prunes, added a spoon of malt. Delicious.
