Soup with beans, bacon and pickles

Ingredients

Dry / canned beans 2 tbsp. l (50-60 g) / 1 can
Sunflower oil / Fat 1 tsp
Bacon / Lard with good meat veins 100 g
Potato 1-2 pcs.
Carrot 0.5 - 1 pc.
Tomatoes / tomato paste 1-2 pcs. / 1-2 st. l
Pickled / canned / pickled cucumber 1 PC. large
Sugar 0.5 tsp
Broth / water 1 l
Garlic 1-2 teeth
Salt, pepper, jusai, garlic, dill, parsley, and other favorite condiments and herbs taste

Cooking method

  • Soak dry beans in the evening, rinse in the morning, add broth / water, add vegetable oil / fat, cook until half cooked - about 1 hour.
  • Cut bacon / bacon into small strips, fry in a hot skillet, put in soup. You can put 1 bay leaf (well, that's optional), take it out after 10 minutes.
  • Cut the potatoes into small strips, add to the soup.
  • Cut the cucumber long, but not large, put there.
  • In a hot pan with the fat left over after frying the bacon / lard (I remove the lion's share of the fat from the pan), put carrots cut into thin strips and onions in half rings, sauté, add peeled and chopped tomatoes (canned) / tomato paste, sugar, simmer briefly together, add to soup. If you cook with canned beans, then it's time to add them along with the brine.
  • Chop garlic, herbs, hot pepper, send there.
  • Let the soup boil, turn off, leave for 10 minutes, serve with sour cream.

The dish is designed for

1.25 l

Note

I just cooked it, tasted it, well, delicious!
My bacon was a good raw smoked bacon with thick, thick veins of meat (here, it seems, Tumanchik will be indignant again ...) The smoked aroma gave a special touch to the soup; everything fit together perfectly.

I found the recipe on the SAY7 forums, for some reason it was called "Pickle with beans and bacon". It's never a pickle, of course; well, God be their judge ... Thanks to the author anyway Monica from Crimea; I ask her forgiveness that her recipe, as always, perverted and altered.

Lerele
Oh, how I missed that, for me soups with legumes, if you don't put a tomato, are bland.
And with a tomato is not always hunting, my husband does not really love him., But prefers without him.
And then the cucumber will add flavor.
Thank you!!!
