I got this stove (REDMOND RBM-M1907) and the impressions are contradictory. On the one hand, the bread turned out beautiful and tasty the first time (as well as in subsequent times). On the other hand, the stench is not clear what (whether it is plastic, or some kind of chemistry) has been worth a week and does not disappear. Moreover, the inside does not stink and the bread at the exit is without foreign smell, but outside ... The smell is not even when heated, but when it heats up, at least run away from the apartment. I tried to drive it in idle with water and wipe it with vinegar (as they write tips for multicooker), nothing helps. But in confusion - to change to the same or to the HP of another company. Can anyone come across a similar one, what would you advise?

Didn't change or hand over. Many, many times I wiped the plastic with 9% vinegar, boiled it with half a lemon in the "milk porridge" mode. As a result, the smell of plastic disappeared, now when baking it only smells like bread.Bread Maker Redmond RBM-M1907

I have the same HP, I bought it in August, but there was no smell, the bread turns out wonderful

This is my next bread baking experiment. Already better than the previous one, but for some reason the top burst, I think there is a lot of liquid. It turned out very tasty, everyone liked it. Pok according to this recipe: serum - 200 ml.
water - 120 ml.
grows oil. - 1 tbsp. lies.
apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp. lies.

I also have 1907. I got it about a month ago. English version (we are in Australia). Before that I used local bread makers.
So far, I can say that I am satisfied. Although I did everything only from the recipe book. I'm still afraid to experiment, I want to get used to it. Made white (N1), Darnitsky, buckwheat. Everything turned out great. But with gluten-free, a complete failure. Tried twice, did everything literally according to the recipe. Not edible at all. Possibly a problem with Australian baking powder. I'll try other options.
I also make yoghurts, buckwheat and rice in it (when the multicooker is busy). It turns out no worse than in a multicooker.

I bought a stove on 12/06/2015 and immediately baked bread according to recipe # 1. It turned out to be normal, a little damp around the edges. But further disappointments went - the crust on the "middle" from the sides and bottom burned, very hard and dry. According to the book recipe, Darnitsky came out with a nightmarish crust and an uncooked lump. I think the recipe is wrong. I used the Basic, Gluten Free and Pastry programs. Normal bread was only on Basic. She baked 7 loaves in 7 days. Oven with only one program? - isn't it too monotonous? And the smell of plastic when baking - to nausea! I called Redmond to consult, they promised to call the cook, BUT! ... silence! Eldorado promises to replace the stove, they have already drawn up an act. I'll try again to take this model. I will definitely unsubscribe after the replacement. ...
And, ultimately, 17.12. changed to Moulinex 6121. While testing. But it seems the mule will be better. Which she noticed with Redm.and Muli's - the middle crust is still fried. At Ed. even very ..- what then is this choice of crust? oven only on light?
Redmond is more like a multicooker. I took a bite when choosing yogurt, - I didn't want to overload a small kitchen with appliances. The convenience of this stove is a portable handle and an on button. the stove, and not directly into the outlet.

I think recipe error.

No! Everything needs to be learned, including how to properly prepare bread dough and then bake bread out of it.

Come here CONTENTS OF THE SECTION "BASICS OF KNEADING AND BAKING" and further into the section MASTER CLASSES FOR KNITTING THE Dough (BOXES)

And gradually the bread will turn out with a bang!

I got used to it, Darnitsky needs a little less water. Not 300ml, but 280 and everything will be OK !. Yesterday, besides, I transferred it to 500 g of flour, such an appetizing neat bun turned out !!!!! SchA will make a stand for bread, for cooling and trample photo reports to do. Yesterday I made sweet bread with condensed milk ....... tonight she is no longer there, the children crushed ...
Rafik81
Recipe for sweet bread with condensed milk:
butter - 30g
condensed milk - 80ml
salt - 0.5 tsp.
water - 140ml.
cognac - 1 tbsp. l.
flour - 300g.
dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
Melt the butter and added condensed milk, salt, water, brandy, flour, yeast and PROGRAM # 1 (main) 500g, cf. crust color, 2: 50min, take out, cool down, rejoice!
BON APPETIT!!!

I still have no problems. I have this bread maker for about two months. I used different recipes and programs. Baked a total of about 20 loaves. I made porridge, baked puff pastry pie, plus I regularly make yogurt. I'm happy with everything. The kneading really needs to be monitored and, if necessary, add flour or liquid. I think the reason is different flour (I'm in Melbourne), so I have to slightly adapt the recipes. But that's not a problem for me. Before that, I had two local bread machines (Australia), but so far I like Redmond better.

People, welcome!
A question about the operation of xn, when kneading a dough on any program, the front wall of xn heats up from the outside, there is enough warmth from it, the hand is very warm, should this be so or is it a defect? The second hp1902 does not have this. After the stock, everything returns to normal. And so only for a long time, about 15-20 minutes is noticed when kneading. In Redmond they can't say anything worthwhile, they are driven to the service center, but so far I don't want to go there, because everything else works without problems!
Thanks in advance everyone!
Tatiana Alex
I returned my 1907, spoiled the white bread (the recipes were previously checked). Very dry, the crust came out thick and burnt. But Darnitsky really liked the big-ticket program

Everything bakes fine for me, but the body heats up when kneading the dough, who else does it, or is this the norm? And I shouldn't worry?

Question: how is it heated? The body of the x / stove may be slightly warm. And inside the bucket, T * C should be at the level of 25-30 * - this is the norm for proving bread dough.
It is necessary to check the internal heating temperature of the x / stove from time to time. To do this, you can hang an oven thermometer inside the bucket and check.

Falcon
After about 20 minutes of continuous kneading, the outside of the case is very warm in front, when you touch the case, everything is fine inside, the dough is perfectly melted and different breads are baked with a bang, including with sourdough.
Well, I also thought, while the dough is stirring and baking, do not get steamy ☺
Thanks to everyone who answered !!! 😊

Hello, I have bread according to 2 recipes (one of which is from curdled milk and the second with condensed milk) did not work out at all. Which from curdled milk turned out like a brick baked on the program √3, and with condensed milk, I’m probably still 3 tbsp. l added flour with a slide and the dough everything turned out to be smooth and smooth and naturally some kind of kosaboka loaf tasted like nothing, there may be an error in the recipe

My work colleague gave her old Panasonic to my mother in the village, and bought this one for herself. The seller in Eldorado in the most impudent way promoted her to buy. To say that she is disappointed is to say nothing. Now lies in the closet, does not use. 2 times on Avito filed an ad, no one coveted

There are specialized topics on the choice of bread makers. For example, https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=173585.200... Or this one: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=3696.1720 Maybe the girls will tell you

that's why you are so about a wonderful bread maker, I've been baking for 1907 for 4 months now and can't get enough of it

I don’t know, I bought a Redmond 1907 on March 9, and passed 19 to the commission, the spatula scraped along the bottom of the bucket, the entire coating was peeled off in a circle. The bread was beautiful, but not tasty, the crumb crumbled and somehow tasteless. I did not wait for an answer, I immediately bought Panasonic, heaven and earth, I will not write all the advantages, you can read it in the reviews, but comparing these stoves is just ridiculous (I apologize to the holders of these x / n). Who thinks what stove to buy - only Panasonic!

better to dig, but take a good one (Panasonic within 10-11 tons)

Elena, Moscow, I certainly apologize, but you do not check the goods when you buy ??? I examined everything and when buying immediately brushed aside the marriage and chose exactly what I needed. I am happy for more than 4 months. , yes, some recipes need to be slightly adjusted for the amount of water, but the bread is always delicious, I infected all my friends with homemade bread and at work I spoil my colleagues ...

when buying immediately dismissed the marriage
there is such a thing as "hidden marriage", when they bought it, they turned on the x / n for a few seconds, the check for "works - does not work", and since Redmond is loud enough, I did not immediately hear the friction, but God bless him with friction , the main quality of bread, and now I have something to compare with, I repeat once again "heaven and earth". But to each his own, you like it, and this is the main thing.
Rafik81
Elena, Moscow, no, let's be honest, send your bread, we'll try, I don't know where it's tastier than mine ...
Elena, Moscow
send? where to? let us be left, each with his own stove, and with his own bread. As I wrote, I have something to compare with, but you apparently do not. I like bread from Panasonic more, you from Redmond. Let's be friends with stoves

While happy. The bread turned out the first time, baked according to the cookbook that came with the kit. The smell of plastic is not pleasant to eat when cooking, but bread is not saturated with this smell. I hope it will wear out soon.
I tried to bake according to the recipe I found here on the site. Everything was also perfectly baked. Here's what happened

Who has such a bread maker, have problems with a scratched bucket? All of a sudden, the spatula scratched out all the Teflon to the metal in a circle, and I don't know what to do now. In service centers they shrugged their shoulders, they say there are no spare ones. I just want to know - is this a warranty case or not?

I am writing for the third time, the answer for some reason does not work, now briefly, the bucket was scratched to the metal, after 10 days it was submitted for examination, a month later they offered an exchange or refund, they took the money, that's all

I have such a stove since September 2015. The flight is normal. There are three types of pyok: white, airy white and Estonian. The bread is very tasty, but I did not like the cake according to the recipe from the book. We must try another recipe or change this one. And I want a round mold for cake. Are other molds on sale for this model or not? Was anyone looking for?

If you choose between Redmond 1907 and Kenwood 450, which is more reliable, I understand that both models have a bucket for a year and a half? Is it problematic to buy a new one for Redmond?
ruta39
I also have this x / n for almost a year. There has never been a smell from it, the bucket does not scratch, the bread is delicious, the cupcakes are very good, I bake them according to my own recipes, which I used to bake in the oven. There are mistakes in the recipe book. I have nothing to compare with because this is my first x / n, so I am just writing my own review, let's see how long it will work and not cause problems.
Sujata
Thank you for your answer, I am inclined to buy this model, all the same there are a lot of positive reviews about it, but only a few complaints. The bucket can be found on websites if it flies. And about Kenwood I read the topic, it became scary, although she is a beauty and with convection, but there are too many complaints.

We use this model for a year and eight months, I bake once every two or three days, so this is already an experience for the stove :) First, I baked a lot of white according to different recipes from the book, everything always worked out without punctures The only exception "whole grain buckwheat" did not work out with two attempts, even the bun was not kneaded, it was just that the crumbly substance was at the stage of finishing the batch. Then we switched to simple Darnitsky (without cumin), it always turns out! I tried recipes from Borodinsky and with bran from the Internet, baked from ready-made mixtures - no complaints, we don't buy the store at all. The bucket has not yet worn out, the new stove did not stink, probably just lucky. I have not tried yoghurts and preserves, muffins too, but this is in the plans. Good luck to everyone with your choice of stove!

I baked the first bread yesterday. Main program, 500 g regular white bread with a medium crust. The result is good and the bread is delicious. Before that, there were 2 more bread makers, one Redmond rbm-m1902 and another cheap Chinese clone, which exactly repeated all the Redmond 1902 programs. In Redmond 1907 there are more bread recipes, although there are very few recipes for 750 and 1000. We'll have to experiment or calculate the proportions from other recipes.

I haven't made the usual unleavened dough yet, but according to the program it is made in 30 minutes. In other stoves, they mixed in 14 minutes. Well, let's see how it comes out.
