Poor men's stew

Ingredients

Turkey breast fillet 350 g
Bulb onions 350 g
Potatoes 800 g
Sour cream 15% 250 g
Water - boiling water 150 ml
Flour 1 tbsp. l with a slide
Salt, pepper, dried garlic, oregano taste
Carrot half

Cooking method

  • Cut the turkey breast fillet into pieces of about 1.5 cm x 2 cm x 2 cm.
  • Put in boiling water, let the foam appear, pour out the water, and rinse the meat. Season with salt, pepper, dried garlic, oregano and 3 tbsp. l sour cream. Stir and set aside.
  • Leave the slow cooker to warm up in HIGH mode for 20 minutes.
  • Peel and wash onions and potatoes. Finely chop the onion and cut the potatoes in half lengthways and then into slices about 3 mm thick.
  • In a large thick-walled skillet, adding a spoonful of water, completely without oil, stew the onion first, then add the potatoes and cook for 6-8 minutes so that the vegetables begin to soften.
  • Mix the remaining sour cream with flour and half a glass of water, add salt, pepper, dried garlic and oregano to taste, pour into a skillet with vegetables, add the turkey and let the whole mass boil. Cook for 2-3 minutes, adding water if needed (to cover all the ingredients). Give it a try. Season to keep everything in moderation, transfer to the slow cooker bowl.
  • Cover and cook for 1 hour High and 7-8 hours LOW.
  • Peel the carrots and grate on the thinnest grater (better for Korean carrots).
  • Put carrots in the finished dish, stir and turn off. Sprinkle with herbs to taste and serve.

We get tender turkey fillet melting in the mouth and soft potatoes in sour cream sauce. Mlrcov brings a fresh, crisp flavor to this long stewed dish.

You can even “buy” it in a spoonful of sour cream with your hands to mix it so that the sour cream would cover the potatoes. And do not grease the meat with sour cream, well, if it was somehow pickled. The meat will give juice, if there is not enough of it, then you can just have very little water. But I always have a lot of meat, I don't pour water.
