Ingredients

flour 550 - 600 g
dry yeast 10 g (I used Saf-moment)
salt 1/2 tsp
milk 100 ml
sugar 150 g
butter 70 g
eggs 3 pcs. (small)
raisins 100 g
nuts 50 g
vanilla essence 1 PC.
turmeric 1/2 tsp (for color)
sunflower oil 50 ml

Cooking method

  • The recipe is simple but delicious! I did almost the whole process in a bread machine.
  • All ingredients for a bread machine up to 1kg.
  • Has spread shivers in warm milk + 3 tbsp. l flour and allowed to come up for 10-15 minutes.
  • At this time, beat the sugar with eggs, preferably with a mixer, until foam forms.
  • The butter should be soft, at room temperature. We pour everything into a bucket of a bread machine, pour 550 g of flour and turn on the "fresh dough" program, that is, just kneading. Watch the kolobok, it should be well mixed and elastic enough, if necessary, add a little flour as you knead. As soon as you get a good bun, by this time the program should be over, turn on the "yeast dough" program and start adding warm (not hot) sunflower oil, one tablespoon at a time. Add a spoon and wait for it to interfere well, again a spoon and so on, until you add all the oil. Close the HP lid and leave until the end of the program. The dough should double.
  • Take the dough out of the HP and place it on a surface smeared with sunflower oil, divide it into 6 parts. From them, with your hands greased with sunflower oil, you make flagella. Weave a pigtail from three flagella.
  • Put what you have done in a round shape greased with sunflower oil.
  • Spread the next pigtail at a distance of one finger around the previous pigtail. If you wish, you can make more braids. I weaved at random, and laid out in a circle with a short distance, so that there was room for lifting. Remember that we make Easter cake in a warm room, without rushing.
  • All that you have done, cover it with a film and leave it to rise for an hour and a half, again, do not especially watch the time, so that the cake doubles its volume.
  • The oven is needed at a temperature of 180 degrees, my top immediately gilded, I covered the cake with foil and baked until cooked for about 40-50 minutes, after which I removed the foil and left the golden crust until cooked.

I baked in the oven, but since I had wet dried fruits, I overexposed them a little and, as a result, dried them out. Everyone liked the cake very much, delicious.

I baked this cake last year. HP I have Panasonic, the Basic program for the test. The amount of butter is quite normal here, and a mixture of butter and vegetable is even recommended for cakes so that they do not dry out quickly. The only thing is that I increased the amount of milk and put not three eggs, but two and one yolk, because I know from experience that it is better not to put all the proteins in the cake dough. Very nice and delicious.
