Athos style sour mushroom soup in OTTO RC 110T rice cooker

Ingredients

Fresh champignons 250 g
Bulb onions 1 PC
Pickle 1 PC
Fresh apple 1 PC
Lean oil 2 tbsp. l.
Flour 20 g
Hot water 1 liter
Zeoen dill, chopped, fresh 1 tbsp. l
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Wash the champignons, cut into cubes. In vegetable oil, we will begin to fry them on the SOOOK program (cooking). While the mushrooms are fried, clean, wash and finely chop the onion. Add to mushrooms, fry a little together, sprinkle with flour, mix and fry until browned
  • Pour 1 liter of hot water into the mushrooms, add a little salt and cook without a lid for 15 minutes.
  • During this time, cut the pickled cucumber (according to the recipe, the cucumber can be replaced with 1-2 pickled tomatoes) in half lengthwise, and then in thin slices, peel the apple and cut the seeds and cut it into small cubes. Finely chop fresh dill.
  • At the end of cooking, add the cucumber, apple and herbs to the soup and cook until tender. I covered and transferred to the WARM program for 30 minutes

The dish is designed for

3-4 servings

Time for preparing:

45 minutes

Cooking program:

SOOK? WARM

Note

When I found this recipe in the book "Recipes of the Athonite Monks" by Y. Bogushevsky, I thought that this is a soup "out of nothing", it doesn't even have carrots. I decided to cook it, it turned out very tasty and rich. Monks cook on a fire, in a saucepan, I used a simple rice cooker with one button and V. Pokhlebkin's advice never to cover a saucepan with a cooking soup with a lid.
It turned out to be a delicious lean soup.

So I also started to cook because of the unusual combination of products. It turned out deliciously, the cucumber has a very good taste of mushrooms.

Here's how ...

I never cooked soup with the lid open ...

Thanks for the recipe, Oksana ...

Interested !!!

I think if instead of champignons we add forest mushrooms, the soup will only benefit from this !!!

I am sure she will win. Not so long ago I read about the lid in his book "My Kitchen", now I understand why the soups in the cartoon are "different". By the way, the monks in the photo are also boiling on fire without a lid. Maybe that's why (except for a positive attitude) everything they have is so simple and tasty.
