Risotto with mash (inspired by mashkichiri) in Steba DD2

Ingredients

Meat 500gr
Rice 1 st
Mash 0.5 st
Onion 2 large
Carrot 1 large
Hot peppers and garlic 1 goal each
Vegetable oil
Water or bouillon 2 st

Cooking method

  • Soak the mash for a couple of hours in water, on the advice of Anna with soda, to avoid gas formation.
  • Mashkichiri needs lamb or beef, but as you can see, I still make risotto, then I took pork, well, I just bought pieces of pork today.
  • Turn on Shteba, frying mode. I took a Teflon bowl from Brand 6050. While the bowl is warming up, peel and chop onions and carrots on a coarse grater. After the signal, pour oil and put onion. When the onion is golden, add the carrots and fry.
  • To speed up the process, I reheated a frying pan on the stove, and over the highest heat began to fry the pieces of meat. That is, while the onions and carrots are fried, the meat will be fried during the same time.
  • Or you can first fry the meat in Shteba, pull it out, and then fry the onions and carrots.
  • We put the meat in the bowl of Shteba, add mung bean. Stir, let the meat and onions fry a little and wave, make friends.
  • Then add salt and pepper. Put the rice, stir it and fill it with water after a couple of minutes.
  • I took a little more than 2 glasses of water.
  • The water is boiling, the roasting mode is in progress.
  • Here we close the lid, turn off the frying, set the Porridge mode for 12 minutes.
  • At the end of the program, wait for the pressure drop, let it steam properly. About 15 minutes later we open ...

  • We mix and enjoy, it turned out the consistency is the most !!! And tasteful !!!

Note

I waited, waited, and found a Mashkichiri recipe on the Internet, took it as a basis, thanks to the author !!

Lerele, thanks for the recipe!
And now for dummies: how does risotto differ from mashkichiri and pilaf? I understand that my question will amuse many here, but I really want to know for sure.
Lerele
gala10, risotto looks more like porridge, it does not need rice to rice to make rice, and rice is more starchy.
And mashkichiri, in theory, is the same pilaf, but with the addition of masha.

Lerele, Thank you! Now everything is clear to me.
