It's nice to read such recipes (I especially liked about the orange).
It seems natural to a modern person to eat an orange, but once they were a wonder.

Thanks for the tip, just eating this means that cooking for 15 minutes does not affect the taste of the orange itself.

Ketsal, and just crush the poppy, or can you grind it in a blender?
Ketsal
I put it into a Soviet coffee grinder! The blender turned out to be useless if you want to meditate with the entry and the pens.

My meditation usually ends with a yell from the room "mom, go kiss your nose" ... So, either a blender or a coffee grinder ... I'll try, very interesting!

Interesting. but why cook an orange, if the zest can be erased anyway.
Albina
I read the recipe and did not understand exactly what to do with the orange. It just dawned on me to "eat the orange." And why did you cook it?

They boiled it for the zest.

I don't know for sure, but I think it's like in a salad, you can put raw onions, you can scalded, or you can pickled.

Ketsalsorry for being clever
Ketsal
Boil the orange so that the zest does not taste bitter, you can hold it in boiling water if you are not afraid of bitterness. This is the same as for candied orange fruits.
