Athos potato soup with noodles in a rice cooker 1l

Ingredients

Potatoes 400 g
Carrot 1
Bulb onions 1
Laurel dist 1
Black pepper 3 peas
Vermicelli 100 g
Water 2 l
Garlic 2 teeth
Vegetable oil 50 ml
Parsley 60 g
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • I cook this soup in a small rice cooker, so I took half of all the ingredients.
  • Peel, wash and finely chop the onion and carrot. Spase until soft in vegetable oil with the addition of 2-3 tbsp. l. water, right in the bowl of the rice cooker. If the rice cooker turns off before the vegetables have softened and smell delicious, then add 1-2 tbsp. l. cold water and turn on the appliance again.
  • When the vegetables are ready, place them in a separate bowl, wipe the bowl with a paper towel and pour hot water into it. While the water is boiling, clean, wash and cut the potatoes into cubes. Put in boiling salted water and cook for 10 minutes, skimming off the foam. Then put the roast, bay leaf and pepper and cook for another 10 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, add the vermicelli, and 2 minutes before the chopped garlic and parsley. Add salt and serve.

Note

Greens greatly enrich the taste of this simple soup from the book \ "Recipes of the Athonite Monks \".
You can also cook it on the stove top, but I really like the little even boil of the rice cooker, so I chose it by halving the ingredients.
For some reason, we are often embarrassed to lay out everyday simple recipes.
But monks eat like this, live long and do not get cancer. Perhaps their \ "diet \" still has something.

ninza
