Galina, I really like lentils. Soups from it are my everything! But I haven't tried it with pumpkin. Thanks for the idea and recipe!
Gala
Tatyana, I also really love lentils and often cook them in different versions. Today I wanted a pumpkin.
I would be glad if you like this version of the soup.

I cook it with pumpkin and celery - it's delicious, but I haven't tried it with lentils in this composition. Galyus, thanks, great idea to combine all these goodies.
Py. Sy. Can I add meat? I love meat.

GalaThank you so much for the spicy soup recipe !!! Very interesting winter taste, so deeply wrapped !!!
P.S. Since there were no lentils at home, I cooked it with a wave ...Home liked it, repeat boom !!!
Gala
Ludmila, I am glad that the homemade soup liked it. And waving is also a great option!
Nagira
Gala, well, here I brought my casserole with our favorite soup
Thank you very much for the new dish in our menu, our soups are difficult to take root, my husband generally started eating them 10 years ago, so imagine how he responded to yours, since he ate more than one plate ...
The photo, of course, is not aesthetic, sorry, but I look (a month has passed already ...) - and I want it again
Spicy soup of lentils, pumpkin and celery in the Steba DD2 slow cooker

Fuckers mal-mal at all
Instead of carrots - our beloved parsnip (those light sticks are not potatoes) well, how can we do without it
After frying, I took out the spices, ground them in a mortar and added water before pouring in (because I did not dare to fry fenugreek with vegetables - you just overexpose it on the fire - everything will taste soooo bitter).
Well, I have lentils from private traders from the market, like red, but probably not peeled, and thanks to the shell, they do not boil in mashed potatoes, they look almost like the top one in this photo, but not brown, but with an even more reddish tint:

Oh, I forgot to write how I was looking for your soup for the report ... Well, I put my eyes on it right away, but did not take it to the bookmarks ... This is not the first time I have encountered such a problem, the systematics of recipes is too complicated ...
I looked in your profile first First courses oops, no ...
Dishes from cereals and legumes - again no ...
Well, I think it's lean, maybe in Vegetables there is still pumpkin and celery ... - again there is no trace of soup ...
By the method of exclusion, I went to multi-cooker topics and found it!
Gala
Irish, such a kind castrUlka! And the color is so brownish golden spicy

husband ... ate more than one plate ...

What a fine fellow I am, I will say without false modesty: I diversified your menu and pleased your husband
A good addition is parsnip, I also love it very much, but now it's an ambush with it (as well as with a turnip), they no longer bring them to the only store where I bought them, they say there is no demand, people don't buy
Svetlenki
Nagira, Irina, beautiful colorful report My husband is also crazy about this soup, I cook it weekly.

But I take note of this. I felt a bit bitter once - apparently overcooked, I tried to figure out how to get away from it. Thank you!

By the way, Gala, I began to use fenugreek with your light hand - with this soup. Until now, I had it probably half a year untouched

Svetlenki, Sveta, I with the "light hand" of the Bread Maker also picked up a lot of things both in terms of ideas and in terms of devices.

Gala, suddenly frost burst out and I remembered about this soup. It is all the same tasty and forgives me the absence / replacement of many products (again I didn’t have celery - I replaced it with parsnips), I added radish, potatoes ... I didn’t have time to soak green lentils (I didn’t read the weather forecast yesterday) - at the end I threw asophytida. .. In general, yummy !!!
