Ingredients

radish green 500 g
carrot 150 g
bulb onions 1 PC
garlic 5 tooth
Bulgarian pepper 150 g
hot red pepper taste
spices (basil, savory, dill) taste
vinegar or apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
salt pinch
sugar 1 tbsp. l.
mustard oil 4 tbsp. l.
greens taste

Cooking method

  • Peel the radish and carrots and cut into strips or three on a coarse grater, put in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and mix well.
  • Cut the onion into half rings or quarters. Garlic in small strips.
  • Cut the bell pepper into strips, chop the hot pepper as much as possible.
  • Spices: basil, savory, and dill (I used only savory) grind in a mortar, add sugar, then vinegar and mustard oil, mix well and season the salad.
  • Stir the salad well, cover (required) and let it brew for several hours, or better overnight.
  • Add fresh parsley, dill and cilantro to the prepared salad.

I found the recipe for this bright and juicy salad a long time ago on the Internet, or rather somewhere on Lee. RU. This is not the first time I have been preparing it, but there the author recommended serving it for pilaf. So I decided to try it, as it turned out to be a really wonderful addition to pilaf, in my opinion it is just perfect.
