Ingredients
Flour 1 kg
Warm water 2 + 1/2 tbsp.
Salt 1 tbsp l.
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Rast. oil
(olive can be used) 6 tbsp. l.
Dry yeast 4 tsp

Cooking method

Bagels with sesame seeds
1 In a mixer, combine flour, sugar, salt and yeast (slowly)
2. Add oil and while stirring, gradually add warm water. Mix the dough for 8-10 minutes. The dough should be very soft, but not sticky to your hands.
3. Cover the dough with a clean towel and put it in a warm place for 1.5 hours. After about 40 minutes, knead the dough.
4. Take the finished dough and divide it into 10 equal parts. Roll out a 40 cm long "sausage" from each part and connect the ends. The hole ... from the donut should be big, since the dough grows very much in the oven ... and it can ... gobble up our ... hole
5. Pour hot water into one deep plate, pour sesame seeds into another. Dip the bagel first in water, and then roll it completely in sesame seeds. Place the bagel on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. We do the same cruelty to everyone else ... bagel.
6. Cover with a towel and let stand for 30 minutes.
7. Put the baking sheet in preheated to 200 gr. oven for 16-17 minutes (I bake on the middle shelf with ventilation). We take it out of the oven and cover it with a towel for 5-10 minutes ...
Well, a very tasty thing ... especially for those who love sesame ...
Bagels
according to the recipe the name of Obarinka (old Ukrainian cuisine)
wheat flour 450-470 gr.
warm milk 150 ml.
dry yeast 1.5 tsp.
eggs 2 pcs.
butter (melt) 75 gr.
sugar 75 gr.
salt 1/2 tsp
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add eggs, butter, sugar, salt. Stir everything well (I beat it with a mixer). Pour in flour and knead the dough (kneaded with a mixer for about 2 minutes). Cover the dough and place in a warm place for 2 hours. When the dough comes up, make bagels out of it, put them on a sheet and let them come up again, grease with an egg, sprinkle with nuts or poppy seeds. Bake in a hot oven.
The dough is soft, slightly sticky (very little). I got 8 bagels a little smaller than the store ones. I cut off a piece, rolled the ball, made a hole and gently stretched it. I put it on baking paper (on a baking sheet), covered it with a towel and let it come up for about 40 minutes. Covered with milk and sprinkled with poppy seeds. Then baked at 180 gr. about 15 min.
The bagels are delicious, soft and fluffy. They can be sprinkled with sugar instead of poppy seeds.
