Ingredients

butter 130gr
eggs 2 pcs.
sugar 150gr
flour 350-380gr
vanilla sugar
baking powder 1 tsp
zest of 1 lemon
salt on the tip of a knife / pinch

Cooking method

  • Let the oil sit at room temperature until completely softened. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, eggs and beat well with a mixer.
  • Now add flour and baking powder, mix. First, pour the flour 350g. After kneading with your hands, check if it sticks or rolls into a ball rather normally). If everything is OK, don't add any more. The dough should be kept in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. After that, it "turns to stone" (the oil solidifies). But I work with this, only made. More precisely, half in the refrigerator, half immediately stamped. Because after hardening / cooling it is much less plastic, it is supposed to be rolled out and cut out of cookies.
  • We roll balls the size of tennis balls or a little less from it, put them directly on the seat on the baking sheet, "seal" with a stamp and do not touch them any more. The stamps are used here by Nordic Ware.
  • Stamped butter cookies
  • Carefully and slowly. The stamp separates well.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes at 160 (with convection) degrees until golden brown.
