Bulgarian Pitki with feta cheese and butter (multicooker Zigmund & Shtain MC-DS42IH or Princess pizza maker)

Ingredients

Homemade yogurt 1 cup
Soda 1 tsp
Flour 2 cups
Salt 0.5 tsp
Grated cheese 1 cup
Butter 30 g

Cooking method

  • Very fast Bulgarian bryndza buns. I have a cup of 210 ml. Add soda to kefir, stir. Pour in flour and salt, knead the dough. Add feta cheese. Form 6 balls, place in a greased multicooker bowl. Divide the remaining butter into 6 parts and put on each ball. Select the "Pizza" program, the default time is 40 minutes. Close the lid, press the "start" button. All!
  • After the end of the program, you can put it under the grill for 5 minutes. The recipe I love very much, I cooked in a pizza maker, oven. Now I decided to try it in a multicooker. Delicious, despite the pale appearance, completely baked.

  • If the amount of dough is doubled, then you can bake in the oven (30 cm shape) or in the Princess pizza oven. This is what it looks like. Lubricate the Teflon mat with oil. Roll out the dough to the size of the pizza oven. In the middle, squeeze out a circle with a cup or ring, divide the outer part into 16 segments. Tighten each segment with a screw. Transfer the pita mat to the pizza maker, turn on for 40 seconds, turn off, leave in a closed oven for 15 minutes. Pita will increase in volume. Brush with an egg, turn on the oven and bake until tender. It is very easy!

Tatyana, what cute Pitki. The first time I hear such a name, I have never even seen it. I love cheese, I must try to make it. Thanks for the recipe! There is no pizza mode, you can probably make it on baked goods?
Babushka
Olga, thanks for stopping by! In Bulgaria, both buns and bread are called so.
I think that it will turn out pretty well on "baking". Only if the cartoon is not induction, then the time needs to be increased.
Olechka.s
Tanya, I understand. I have Shteba. But maybe I'll try it in the oven. Thanks again!
Rada-dms
Tanya! What tempting drinks! How to bake them in princesses, in tins?
Babushka
Olechka.s, Olga, The right decision. They are usually baked in a pan or pan in the oven.

Rada-dms, Thank you! I often bake them at the Princess. I have a 24 cm form, grease it with oil, divide the dough into 8 parts, let it stand in a warm place for about 15 minutes and bake from a cold state until it is reddened. Despite the fact that the dough is without yeast, the drinks are airy.

Girls, good luck!

Tatyana, we don't have feta cheese, but there is Bulgarian cheese, it is similar in taste and density. Almost. In general, I ordered my husband to buy it on the way home.

Saba, Bulgarian cheese will be better than feta cheese. Only the salt will need to be reduced in the dough. As a rule, Bulgarian cheese is salty. Then tell me how it happened?

It didn't work for me. The dough came out thin. I will try to do more.
Omela
Aenta, I also had a liquid, I greased my hands and dough with oil so that it could be molded.
Babushka
Aenta, Omela, my dough was not watery. Absolutely. I didn't even add flour almost from above when I rolled it out ...

Omela, I bake sweets too. I like it very much with prunes and nuts.
TATbRHA
A delicious option for quick bread, if cheese is in the refrigerator. And I don't have feta cheese, but local salted cheese, the Armenians make. I also baked into the Princesses. Well, a very tasty option! Babushka, Thank you!
Babushka
TatyanaThank you for taking the risk to try! Quite right, very quick bread. I also baked with bazaar cottage cheese, I also liked it.
