prubul
Wow, is the nettle ripe in Tyumen? Yes, the climate has changed And the soup is good!
Bianchi
prubul, No, fortunately it has not changed. But is it possible to dream? It is in Tyumen, among the February snowdrifts, that she is most dreamed of. While you wait and dream, you can prepare in advance
vernisag
Oh, Yul, and where did you find the nettles in Tyumen? You probably still have knee-deep drifts
Galina Iv.
mine ischo must be thrown there!
Bianchi
vernisag, This is a recipe since last summer, dacha The fact of the matter is that there are snowdrifts, and the soul asks for spring !!
A.lenka
Bianchi, Julia, thanks for a piece of spring mood!

This is a recipe since last summer, country house
I already understood the following recipe I saw and understood
I haven't eaten nettle soup for a long time, I remember my mother cooked it, it was delicious
Bianchi
A.lenka, Please, at least someone understands me!
Bianchi
vernisag, I am misleading everyone and people think that spring is already in Tyumen and the first nettles are ripe
Bianchi
vernisag, Can you write a recipe for how your mom cooked? Very interesting!
bagiraSochi
I saw the recipe and couldn't resist commenting! And my mother cooked such a soup))) only shaken the raw egg with a fork, then poured it, stirring it into the hot soup. It turned out such egg fibers)) mmmm, how delicious!

Or can you write a recipe for how your mother cooked? Very interesting!
Yul, yes, he says the same as you wrote, only you can add cereals, any
Wildebeest
Bianchi, Aaaaaaaaaaaa! I want summer, dreaminess, quinoa, woodlice and nettles.
Julia, your soup was so inspired by the summer, and the aroma of boiled nettles came from the monitor.
bagiraSochi, so I'll try to fill with an egg.
Summer, ah, summer!
Tricia
Bianchi, Yulia, I love green soups! Thanks for the summer reminder!
We usually pour into such a soup, and currant leaves, and add sorrel if it has grown. And sprinkle on top with chopped "cucumber grass" - borago - was the most favorite herb from my grandmother, and I also now.
I could not stand it and cooked a soup from grape leaves, I saw enough of your nettle.
Necessity for invention, as they say: also green, fragrant!

My great-grandmother often used to fill the soups. She did not particularly like transparent soups, she said: "What kind of soup is this if you can see the stele?"
The stele is the ceiling ...
Bianchi
bagiraSochi, Thank you! And my mother usually cooks chicken soup like that (and she, in turn, learned from her mother) - now I will also try with nettle
Bianchi
vernisag, This is a good decision! It will be more satisfying! I like to add lentils to soups now, it turns out very tasty
Bianchi
Wildebeest, Tricia, Thanks for the useful information!
I still want to make such a salad - from the first spring herbs (runny, quinoa), and now you can add them to soups! Probably there won't be soup at all, but a vitamin cocktail! Exactly, apparently the body already requires real vitamins - from a natural pharmacy
Bianchi
A.lenka, I love the recipes of our grandmothers - they are the most delicious and correct !!
Galina Iv.
it remains to wait for spring ... I somehow cooked such a soup at the dacha and treated a neighbor, and he was from Ukraine, and he was so amazed by this soup, he said that they did not cook this)))
Wildebeest
Bianchi, Julia, pick up your sleep when she still has accordion leaves.
I collect it and dry it for the winter, then add it to bread or just to the first dish.

The girls, I remember how everyone who could at their grandmother's in the village cut nettles to feed the pigs. They were often overgrown nettles.

I cook sorrel cabbage soup with nettle 50X50, very tasty.

It's a pity at my dacha, in my garden nettle does not grow, but quinoa has appeared, and dreaming ... the sea is spilled.

Yulia, we (my family and I) are very fond of cabbage soup with nettles, only I am still collecting sprouts of dream, it is also very useful. And sometimes, according to my mood, I add sorrel, in the spring they appear simultaneously with nettles and dimness.
Bianchi
Galina Iv., Not for long! Now I specially typed in a search engine what soups are cooked in Ukraine from young greens, so there are also a lot of recipes for soups made from nettle, sorrel, beet leaves, etc. I think that greens are used everywhere for soups and other dishes, the same nettle grows everywhere)) I also have friends who did not eat nettle soup)) And beet leaves are generally considered inedible and are very surprised when I tell them the opposite)))
Bianchi

For the so-called "weeds" (but in fact the most useful plants) growing in the garden, determine the composition of the soil, if the nettle does not grow, then the soil is not quite suitable for it

I cook sorrel cabbage soup with nettle 50X50, very tasty.

Sorrel, probably, gives a pleasant sourness and the soup becomes less bland

I probably will have to acquire an encyclopedia of herbs and walk around the garden with it, because I still do not know exactly how all the plants that interest me look like
Wildebeest
Bianchi, Julia, you can make stuffed cabbage rolls from beet leaves that we are used to making in a cabbage leaf.
Radish tops go to salads. There are more usefulness in the tops than in the root crop.
I try to use all these greens in the summer. I stock up on vitamins for the winter
Wildebeest
Bianchi, Julia, I recommend that you type "pharmacy under your feet" on you tube. There are a lot of films. This is very informative and useful to know. If you look, pay attention to the leading vegetable garden, she herself is a herbalist.
Bianchi
Mandraik Ludmila, Wildebeest, As the saying goes, "Live and learn!" Thanks for the useful information!! I will now be prepared for spring

Yulenka, look, here's to dull. I take those leaves that have not yet dismissed leafy fingers or are slightly blossoming, but still very young and glossy. They are visible in the photo.

Ladies, it's a great theme. Yulia, thanks, you brought up a useful topic.

cabbage rolls can be made from beet leaves
Botvinnik is made from the beet tops. Everything is the same as cabbage soup. Only it is necessary that the tops are not hardened. And this year I froze chopped beet tops with all sorts of additives, sorrel, spinach, celery .. in general, everything that was ready from the "leaves" at the time of freezing was cut and frozen. But since it was nevertheless closer to autumn, it did not freeze the nettles and dreams ... But a good idea, this year it will be necessary to freeze it, tamp it with a vacuum apparatus, otherwise I have a freestanding freezer in autumn - chock-full!

I know this dish as botvinha. Botvinha is eaten cold, very tasty. In my opinion, Admin-Tanya told me somewhere.
Mandraik Ludmila
Sveta, I cook like ordinary cabbage soup and we eat it hot with sour cream. Can be combined with sorrel and then an egg is added to the plate. I will cook - I will post the recipe
Bianchi
Tricia, What beauty !!! But I don't have one like this in my garden ... I'll go look in the vicinity then! Thank you for educating !!

I do not know what this soup is called, but my mother prepares it from raw beet juice, grated raw beets and adds various fresh greens, including beet tops. And they eat this soup, too, cold, with sour cream. It turns out to be very refreshing and delicious !!
