ABOUT! More quinoa! And how transparent it glows from the inside
It goes well with cabbage and cheese too!

Galyaand how do you like quinoa?
Gala
Tanya, I love. This is a very good combination, and more cheese
Caprice
Something I’m not inspired by the taste of quinoa. I don't like its taste. Maybe I'm cooking something wrong?

May be

Capriceindeed, quinoa has a peculiar taste. This recipe has a very successful combination of ingredients. If you still do not regret a good cheddar, then the porridge turns out to be just creamy. Can you try? Well, if you don’t like it, then this is probably not your product.
Caprice
Well, let's try with cheddar. Although, it may be true, not my product.
Bianchi
Thanks for the recipe! I have not tried quinoa yet, but I really want the recipe to be tempting - all the necessary and healthy ingredients, nothing superfluous I also love broccoli when not boiled, but semi-finished, when the color is bright green))

So, I got a new goal - quinoa. How else to get into the Ribbon, there you can find this ...
I got acquainted with chickpeas, the avocado passed, I gnawed on the celery. ... so, quinoa ...
lu_estrada
How I love quinoa in all its forms - side dish, soup, borscht and buns, but I didn't mix it with broccoli only!
Thank you very much, Checkmark for the goodies!

Lyudochka, do it, you should like it.
Svetlenki
Galawhat a fine fellow you are !!! And I bought quinoa groats and I look at it, I think, how can you cook it in a small barrel (I never cooked it)

What a beauty it turned out ...

Now there is a detailed recipe you can do!

Gala
Sveta, try and write your impressions later
Sens
Gala, what kind of quinoa do you have?
Gala
Sens, this Trade House Fair. I also used Mistral.
Sens
Gala, yes, but I'm not talking about the brand, but about the quinoa itself. white, dark?
maybe even what happens, but I know two types of current.

they say that the cereals need to be soaked before cooking so that the bitterness goes away ...?

Gala
A! It's pure white, I like it more than the Mistral's motley one. I do not soak, but just rinse well, it is not bitter.

No need to soak, it is perfectly cooked, the proportions are the same as for ordinary cereals and there is no bitterness.
If only suddenly something is individual, well, it "tastes and colors ..."

Excellent dietary and gluten-free product

apparently it depends on the variety.
since the description says that it contains saponins that give bitterness and disappear when soaked.

So I get such cereals - without bitterness I buy a lot of it and cook a lot, and different - there is dark, there is yellowish, there is whitish, there is a mix
The only negative is expensive cereal, even very expensive

So, I have a new goal - Katerina quinoa, then forward to the goal!
The goal is achieved! My husband graciously agreed to take me to Lenta. There was a quinoa from "Mistral", apparently a mix, as both dark and light grains. Seeing the price, I decided not to take it (500 gr - 368 rubles), but my husband said - it is necessary! And I did the right thing by buying it. We had guests yesterday. Among the very pleasant friends there was one "madam" She was with us for the first time. How surprised she was (out loud !!!) that among the dishes they offered quinoa with steamed salmon and cheese-mustard sauce! It was worth buying and cooking quinoa for the sake of transforming the expression of her eyes from condescendingly bored into enviously surprised! Moreover, I casually said that we eat it every Tuesday according to the plan ... Well, yes, this is not so and generally ugly, but my husband supported me, casually assenting, like yes, this quinoa is already tired ...
And so nice cereal, cooked for 10 minutes in the Taperovskaya rice cooker, as always, pouring boiling water right away (I also cook rice and buckwheat). Didn't rinse, didn't taste bitter. Then her husband called her millet
Thanks for getting to know the new dish!

Now we have to prepare quinoa every Tuesday according to the plan.

Katerina, maybe the thought that we have quinoa is one and a half times more expensive. I still haven't taken the healthy lifestyle path and started making quinoa. I keep looking at her and feeding myself breakfast. Monday is a tough day, so ... Tuesday is our quinoa day too.

Svetlenki
Gala, thank you! Finally made it !!!

Quinoa with broccoli and cheese in a Steba DD2 slow cooker

No difficulties, as always with cooking according to your recipes. The whole family tried this exotic cereal for the first time. I did it without cheese, just with broccoli. She told the children that it was a porridge of astronauts - they swallowed without a sound. In general, the weekly menu is unique !!! Thank you, dear, for teaching us a healthy diet!
Gala
Svetochka,
I didn't receive a notification, well, I saw your message in the feed. Why didn't you add cheese? It's so creamy with him
Porridge for astronauts - you thought of it well

I made one dessert here, I don't know if I like it, but then it is dedicated to your children

Svetlenki
Gala, I can’t yet ... My little one tore off his stomach with something ... My stomach hurts 10-15 minutes after eating The attack was removed, but now a sparing diet ... So we are all on it with him Therefore, gourmet in the form cheese in the quinoa while being removed ...

Never mind, we will catch up and evaluate your flavor combinations !!! I trust you as myself in terms of taste, you know!

I looked at your dessert, but you won’t believe it, 15 minutes before you put it out, I kneaded the dough for cheesecakes and put it in the refrigerator !!! I even thought about pulling it out and turning it into a casserole ... But I resisted. I will definitely do it - very appetizing

Gala
Sveta, you can hide it under the spoiler by highlighting the phrase and clicking on the icon Sp
I didn't mean this dessert, I haven't laid it out yet
A speedy recovery to the little one!
Svetlenki

Galina, Come on! Bring the dessert, if you're not joking ... We are waiting, sir!

I learned to spoil! Thank you!
Chamomile
Girls who cooked and ate quinoa is it from legumes or not?

Heaves from her? I can't eat a lot after the operation. There are mung bean, chickpeas, lentils of several types, I generally keep quiet about beans and peas.

The groats are not cheap, I don't want to buy them in the closet.
Svetlenki
Chamomile,

I ate and eat. I am not puffy, but puffs from legumes (especially beans), even with asophytida

Gala, Galina, thank you for the recipe.
I really threw the chicken breast there, and removed the cheese, and in general everything worked out in one.
A complete PP lunch!

is it from legumes or not?
No, she is from haze (like quinoa).
The taste is somewhat remotely reminiscent of millet, but without starchiness.
Mirabel
Gala, and can you replace cheddar with gouda? I want to love quinoa ... I cooked several times and everything flew into the trash. But the quinoa hasn't exhausted everything yet.
dana77
Vika, and you entu quinoa sprinkle with any spices you like. Everything will be more fun. And I think any cheese will do. It's here for a bunch of creamy texture.
Although my husband does not want to eat it in any way. He says - I won't eat these hipster porridge (he calls it quinoa, bulgur and spelled)
Mirabel
Quote: dana77
bulgur and spelled call
I have buggur and spelled och go well, aa quinoa noee .. no way. Only Tanya Admin dairy with other cereals sometimes goes.
I'll try as you advise!
dana77
Vika, and stick into the Admin recipe. I somehow didn't think of boiling it in milk
Mirabel
