Red lentil soup with coconut milk in a multicooker Steba DD2

Ingredients

red lentils 0.5 ms
onion (red) 1 PC
coconut milk 1 glass
turmeric 1 tsp
zira 0.5 tsp
coriander 0.5 tsp
hot pepper (small dried) 0.5 pcs
garlic 2 cloves
ginger (root) 3 cm
ghee (ghee) 2 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • Start the FRYING program.
  • After the signal, add the washed lentils, quickly fry, stirring, add turmeric and pour in hot water.
  • Turn off the FRYING program, close the lid, set the PORSE program, pressure 0.7, time 3 minutes.
  • After the end of the program, wait 7 minutes and forcibly release the pressure.
  • Remove the bowl from the multicooker and install another.
  • Switch on the FRYING program again.
  • Melt butter, add finely chopped ginger, pepper, garlic, then finely chopped onion and cook until the onion is soft, stirring occasionally.
  • At the end of frying add cumin and coriander, ground in a mortar.
  • Add ready-made lentils, pour in coconut milk and salt.
  • Warm up everything together for a few minutes and turn off the program.
  • If desired, the soup can be mashed until smooth with a blender, but I did not do this, lentils boil very well almost in mashed potatoes.
  • Sprinkle the soup with sweet paprika and serve.

Well, I'm lazy ...
but I was lazy to write a lot, but at first I wanted to write about such a cooking option in a note and forgot
Svetlenki
Gala, that's why I asked that you are an experienced supoman with us - after cooking, you already understand once what can be done to simplify the process, and where you can not cut corners so as not to lose the taste and aroma.

Thank you!

How I felt I bought a can of coconut milk yesterday!

Well ... A flying saucer flew in again and fed everyone with a delicious soup!

Gala, I already believe so unconditionally that I made a double portion of soup at once, and did not regret it! It was as if I was in Asia for lunch. Aroma and taste very, very well!

Well, not without a gag, of course ... I chopped a pumpkin there (cooked with lentils), and at the end dripped 15 drops (for a double portion of soup) lemon juice, blended it. I did it in one pan - everything is OK.

Thank you so much for bringing us such delicious soups!

PySy. I don’t have such a flying saucer like yours, so I don’t expose the photo ... But the color is very sunny for the soup
Gala
SvetaI'm flattered by your trust

It is quite possible to allow such a gag. Pumpkin with red lentils goes well.
