I have a model with a nut, raisin additive dispenser. I wanted to put seeds in French, but for some reason the French oven offers only 2 modes for the program: baking and dough (basically, automatic addition from the dispenser is also offered).
In this regard, the questions: is this normal, is it not a marriage of my stove?
If normal, what caused it? The peculiarities of French bread recipes, in which, perhaps, it is not customary to put additives?
And yet, if you really want to, is it possible to throw seeds directly into the ingredients? Or is it better to wait until the dough is kneaded?
Thanks a lot in advance for helping the young baker!
Elena Bo
The dispenser only works in Basic with raisins.
If you want to add something for other baking, then add yourself at the end of the batch (min. 3-5 before the end)
Doremi
Happy New Year! Tell me, please, maybe the question is not quite on the topic. but also about the dispenser. After the additives are “thrown out” of the dispenser, when should it close? Or does it stay open during baking? And what to do - close it manually?
Kosha
Remains open.
You can close it if you like, but, in principle, even open it does not interfere with baking.
I am not closing.
Altea
Guys with a Pan. SD-255 with dispenser for nuts and raisins, tell me if the dispenser should close back after the ingredients are poured into the dough. Does it remain open for me? That is, its "door" hangs in a bucket, and if I don't close it myself, it remains so.
Is that how it should be? Will it ruin the dough when raised and the bread when baked?
Hope
Everything works correctly for you. For me, if the bread rose high, the lid from the dispenser reached the top. But if you are nearby, you can open the stove lid and close the dispenser after it is triggered.
an_domini
In my Panas 255 after the dispenser is triggered, its lid does not come back. You have to open and put it in place manually. What is then the point in a dispenser if you still need to wait for the signal for filling. If you do not close the lid, then a light spot appears on the top crust of bread in this place, apparently due to a violation of the uniformity of thermal insulation. Is it all Panasov or a defect?

Well, how will it close? Look carefully at the device - you can only open it - close it in any way ... I don’t know, I have no white spots Bread often closes the dispenser itself while it rises

Owners of ovens with a dispenser, would you be so kind as to tell me how many minutes (approximately) before the end of the batch the dispenser opens? And do I understand correctly that this should be the last batch?
Lubasha
The dispenser opens in exactly 10 minutes. until the end of the batch.

TELL ME PLEASE! I don’t understand how to remove the dispenser. In the instructions in the photo, everything is simple: lift up - in practice, do not remove! And there is no understanding of how to remove the dispenser lid, and what is meant by this - is it a rubber gasket over the dispenser, or the lid of the entire bread machine? What are the dispenser lid connecting pins and bakery lid slots? Thanks in advance for your reply!
LaraN
Andrea, it's simple.Open the lid, then press the dispenser from the inside, as if squeezing it out, and that's it. And you will see the pins and grooves.
andrea
Tell me please! How to remove the dispenser? In the instructions in the photo, everything is simple: you take the dispenser and take it out - in practice, nothing happens! Maybe I'm not applying enough effort? - I'm afraid to break! I looked through the topics on the forum - did not find such a question! The same goes for the dispenser lid! What is meant by it: a rubber gasket or a cover for the entire bread machine? What does it mean: align the connecting pins of the dispenser lid with the groove holes of the bakery lid and remove the dispenser lid? In doing so, do not damage the seal! Thanks in advance for your reply!
andrea
Thanks Lara! Tomorrow morning I plan to bake my first bread! I wanted to sort it out as soon as possible. I even created a new topic, I wanted to delete this message, and here is your answer. But the problem remained. I'm afraid to apply a lot of effort, but it doesn't work that way. It seems that it is not particularly fixed: the tail dangles, and the front part is holding something tight. And about the dispenser lid, it's not clear what's what.
LaraN
It won't break, try it. After the dispenser has worked, the opened lid is then easy to close, by lightly pressing until it clicks.
The stove is good, it will withstand everything, do not be afraid of anything!
andrea
Thanks to the help on the forum, I figured out the dispenser. With the dispenser open, I picked it up by the shoulder from the front side and, applying relatively little effort, calmly took it out.

Peace be with you, bakers!

I have long wanted to join the owners of HP! But I just can't make the final choice. I dash between Panasonic SD-254 and Panasonic SD-255.

The difference, as I understand it, is in the dispenser, the "Rye bread" program (which the majority disapproves, and rye bread is baked in the "Basic" or "Diet" programs), and in the cost.

Something I don't really want to overpay for functions that I will not use at all or constantly.

Therefore, I want to ask you if you always use a dispenser if it is in your HP?

Thank you!
Boo Boo
I rarely use the dispenser, I hardly ever bake bread with additives. But I use the rye program. Recently my friends bought Panas and decided to save money and took 254. Now they regret that there is no rye program.
Ksusha
I fully support the previous speaker. I bake with additives, I fall asleep with additives, both manually and through a dispenser. So if the difference was only in the dispenser, then it would be possible to save money. But the Rye program - I use it regularly. So, it's up to you.
Aunt Besya
And I use the program "Rye" - I bake bread with bran, and a dispenser too. But what about raisins ?? Is it really possible to stand over the stove and catch the moment when you need to throw something there?
Len OK
Of course, you can do with the 254th, but subject to the possibility of purchasing a kneading spatula for rye bread. If you are going to bake rye bread.
Boo Boo
I never change the scapula. So you can do without a rye shoulder blade.
Aglo
And even without the "rye" program, you can do well and manage by baking rye on the main program.
I decided to take the stove without a dispenser right away and have never regretted its absence. Additives, and these are mainly raisins, added on signal - did not bother.

Thanks everyone for voting and detailed answers!

Tell me, when does the dispenser work in the main program, the raisin mode?
Yesterday, you see, when the kolobok was controlling, the lid was opened at that moment and the dispenser did not work!

when the lid is open, the dispenser will not work (it is in the lid that the part that is responsible for opening the dispenser, and it is triggered by another part, which is in the body).
Honestly, of all the differences between the 255th model and the 254th:
1. the program "rye" praktreski is not used, it is too short, so I bake in the "main"
2.I also used the dispenser several times, and in my absence never at all, so I could well fall asleep the same raisins at a click or a signal, but sometimes my hearing decreases, so relying on sounds is unreliable and the dispenser helps out.
3. "dumplings" - I kneaded the dough on dumplings and dumplings only twice during the entire time of using the bread maker, but all the same, you have to mix the flour by hand.

So, if it is not supposed to bake bread with additives at least once a week, then a dispenser is simply not needed. If this practice is regular, then automation makes life much easier.

Thank you, I know that it doesn't work when the lid is open, so I'm wondering when exactly it works, so as not to lift the lid !!!
Rina
If sclerosis does not change me, then at the end of the main batch. Right now I'll look, maybe there is a printout from the instructions.
But in principle, it's easy to check. You will put plain bread in the "basic" mode, put it "with raisins", but do not put anything in the dispenser. Then hear and determine when the dispenser is triggered.
Lydia
I used the dispenser very actively for the first 2 years after purchasing HP. Now less often, since I bake from yeast dough a little less. But if I had to choose again, I would choose a stove with a dispenser. I can not always stand over her "soul" and wait for the signal to drop additives, often I am not at home at all at this time, so I have a dispenser for baking with additives - a lifesaver. But I have no doubt that one can live without him. A person adapts to everything. And I use the Rye program all the time. The husband loves rye bread, and he likes the resulting HP in RYE mode. And the mixer for rye dough, as far as I understand, should be used mainly so that the HP does not overstrain during kneading.

Hello.
Today I baked for the first time in my oven.
put raisin baked goods cut. poured all kinds of seeds into the dispenser. Aon took it and did not open when it was necessary: (As a result, it opened when I was already taking out the finished bread.
How to be? Can I check it before baking? Or should the bread be baked again?
Please tell me: red:

By the way, the bread turned out super !!!
sazalexter
lilyaangel If it is clean, in principle it should open up. If, of course, the correct mode was selected (raisins) In some modes it is not available, they could have made a mistake when installing the program, this is a common mistake of users
Rina
If there was no error with the choice of the mode:
1 Check if the button that opens the dispenser (both in the body and on the lid) is not stuck.
2. Wipe the dispenser itself (see instructions for how to remove it).
3. If you are baking regular bread, simply switch on the raisin program, leaving the dispenser empty. Make sure the word reisin is on the screen before starting the program. At the end of the dough, a sharp click should sound, then open the lid and see if the dispenser has opened or not.
lilyaangel
Before starting work, I did not open the dispenser, I just wiped it on top.
I just used it for the first time, and I thought there was nothing to stick with.
I checked on the dispenser, everything is ok, but the one that I pressed on it a couple of times in HP, it was pressed, and now it is no longer pressed :(

in general, this needs to be verified experimentally again!

I think, maybe bake not simple bread, but with something in a dispenser, which would certainly be checked?
If I open the lid to check if the dispenser has opened, won't the dough get any worse?

thanks for answers:)

Try to determine according to the recipe book for x \ n, according to which mode \ program according to the recipe The manufacturer recommends putting additives in the dispenser
lilyaangel
But why can't you take one recipe (main) and just add additives to it at your discretion? the main thing is to ask raisin?

for example, I took a recipe for the main mode (millet flour, kukur, salt, sugar, water, butter, yeast, oat flakes) I diversified these flakes.
I step by step and hit the main type, chew bake and raisin. set the size xl, and an average crust.
everything seems to be right ...

It is possible and necessary. If you just want to check if the dispenser works, then you can not load anything at all. Put any bread on the main program, choose the raisin mode (as Rina72 advised). If it opens, then just manually close it by lifting the lid. At this stage, the test will not be bad from opening the lid.
lilyaangel
Thank you very much!
Tomorrow I will try everything!

Today I experimented, everything works! apparently something is stuck and stuck.
Thanks to all

Hello everyone. The other day I finally started to master my HP. So, I baked buckwheat bread with walnuts 2 times and both times a few nuts fell past the bucket. The last time one nut landed on the shade and began to smolder, the whole apartment smelled of burning, I had to take out the bread a little ahead of time so that it didn't smell ... barely washed the inside of the HP from soot. Tell me, is it just me or is it a "disease" of stoves with dispensers? Or is it nuts that fell off the top of the bread during the baking process after lifting it in a bucket and I am in vain sinning on the dispenser? Help me please

I think that you are in vain sinning on the dispenser ... most likely the nuts flew out of the bucket during kneading ... the bun beats against the sides of the bucket, and nuts are poured on top ... so it jumped out of the bucket ... this may well happen ... bread had time to bake normally?

Good evening!! I am mastering my HP with great success and am very pleased, but the question is again related to the dispenser. In the "baking" mode, I have no complaints yet, but in the "dough" mode, the dispenser opens and does not rise back. It fits into place only in the "baking" mode already in the baking process. I tried to put the dispenser manually, but it didn't work. I didn’t exert myself, I’m afraid to break it. This is normal?? And how to deal with it ???
Vei
I did not quite understand the problem - the dispenser lid does not close, or you pulled out the dispenser itself, and now it does not fit into place?

In general, my plastic latch burst, which opens the dispenser, now I have it open all the time, it does not close. Such a tiny plastic detail, but spoils the mood (((I'm wondering if they are sold somewhere, or do you need to change the entire dispenser assembly?
mysj19
Yes, the dispenser lid does not close after the "dough" mode. It falls into place only after baking and you have to pour the yeast directly into the bucket. But when I start the oven, at some point I hear a click and it falls into place. And you can replace parts at a service center.

Panasonic SD-2502 raisins in the dispenser can be put wet, can the dispenser open during kneading and not later? how to properly maintain it? if it does not open then immediately for repair or you can do something
