We are planning a child and began to lead a healthy lifestyle with my husband. We decided to drink freshly squeezed juices and the question arose about buying a juicer. I read that now the most modern and efficient screw juicers. They have more juice yield and gentle pressing with the maximum preservation of vitamins and useful substances in the juice. According to the characteristics and description, I liked the Korean Hurom the most. Who has these juicers? Is it worth buying a screw - it is still more expensive than a centrifuge.
Nika Zvereva
We have this - very happy, there are some pluses. Powerful, easy to clean, you get a lot of juice. For example, from 1 kg of apples I get about 800-820 ml of juice, depending on the variety. Even more from grapes. Yes, the price is more expensive, of course, than centrifugal ones, but it's worth it, believe me. In addition to juice, I prepare baby food on it, if you have children - it will just come in handy for you, I make smoothies, cocktails, ice cream, etc. In general, a juicer and a blender replaces me.

Marina, there is theme not at all alone

Oh, sorry, I didn't. Which section?

Realmccoy, take into account that the more juice in the auger juicers is not because it squeezes better, but because it juices with pulp, so it is only suitable for soft fruits and berries. Carrot juice, for example, will still need to be drained afterwards.

carrot juice is not transparent in the centrifuge, it is not transparent at all
and the biggest plus of the augers is that juices are obtained with pulp if there is a sieve for puree - that is generally a huge plus

therefore only suitable for soft fruits
there is very little juice from soft fruits (and in a centrifuge too) - they wrinkle and it turns out rather puree

crunchy, not overripe fruits - give the greatest yield

Realmccoy, Marina! We have one, it is, of course, very good, one drawback is expensive. Here I was recently invited to the presentation of this juicer (apparently, they have my contacts in some database). They showed different versions of mixed juices and treated them to them. The combinations are very different, but everything is delicious. They gave us applications for the purchase of this device with a discount of 10 thousand, promised that this offer would be valid for 10 days. But even with a discount it is almost 30 thousand. Maybe it will still work

Well, yes, I realized that juice with pulp is obtained, I even saw a comparison of juice in a screw and a centrifuge, though tomato juice, I don't know about carrot juice.
The question of choosing a juicer
But in the centrifuge it really turns out some water with foam. And in a cafe I sometimes tried juices from augers - a completely different taste, whole, thick.

And a sieve for mashed potatoes is included in the kit or to buy separately - I don't really understand. Thanks for the advice on soft fruits, I didn't know to be honest

Thank you for the offer, while I still think, the amount is still solid, I want the juicer to really live up to its characteristics. I will also read the reviews if I write to you.

A sieve for puree is included
if included, then it is indicated - 2 sieves - juice and puree
here in the video - at the end - these 2 metal insert-sieves are shown, I almost immediately set aside the juice, sometimes I use it for berries or for tomatoes, and it is better to pass apples and vegetables through a centrifuge if you need juice with a small content of pulp

by the way - vegetable cake after centrifugation, passed through the auger, gives a little more mashed potatoes or juice
after the augers, the cake can be quickly dried in an electric dryer or frozen

do you need Hurom? it is expensive ... for example, ENDEVER SkyLine SGE has the same functions, the price is several times lower, it has 2 sieves and a drip tray, not all augers have this

centrifugal tomatoes and berries do not squeeze, they grind them and almost everything goes into the cake, the output through the sieve is scanty, the high speed does not allow the juice to flow through the sieve, which, unlike auger, is small and very small-hole

Oh, thanks for the video and explanation - I see you are just a juicer specialist. I understand that you mean filters for obtaining juice with and without pulp. Well, about Hurom - I just heard a lot about it, a lot of reviews - but I haven't heard anything about this one, I still want a more proven and promoted version. Although I still think.

I wanted the auger for more than 2 years, went through a lot of information, on the forum and found out about these juicers, the centrifuge has always been

we have a small town, sellers in stores never heard of augers
after my questions about the presence of them and subsequent clarifications, what is an auger juicer, the first augers appeared in the city (like the noodle cutters earlier)

and I already bought it in i \ m, the third year of my yellow-sided beauty
