She did not change the color much and the sediment is also not powerful. Although some flakes appeared. The smell continues sharply. Alcohol. The taste of currant is also not present. So ... it's a pity to pour it out, let it be worth it.
  • And the conclusion is simple - you should not use alcohol for making tinctures or liqueurs. As I have already said, alcohol burns out the whole essence and comes to the fore.

Ivanych, there is a way to preserve the aroma of the currant for a long time, it must be distilled - the aroma is the same .... the color of course is lost, but the "absolute chime", if you remember such a product - rests! We have been doing this for the second year already, and before, yes, the same for a couple of weeks and that's all, you can pour it out .. Storage in the freezer will not save for long, the processes are still going on, only slower ... better distillation! But not rectified, but distillate!

Alcohol "Lux" and "Extra" are produced from various types of grain (except for legumes) and a mixture of grain and potatoes. The amount of potato starch in the mixture should not exceed 35% for the production of alcohol "Lux" and 60% for the production of alcohol "Extra". Of the brands I know with alpha alcohol: Morosha, Kazyonka. From alcohol, the luxury is a decent Guarantor. I do not advise the expensive "Russian standard" and others like it. especially since there are luxury spirits, and in general there is a very high probability of counterfeiting even in chain stores.
