Beard
Good afternoon, dear members of the forum!
I caught fire to buy a Panasonic bread maker. As a second for the summer in the village, and then suddenly and to replace their own ... They sell a used old model sd253 in good condition. Inexpensive.
I already have the most beautiful Daewoo 9154, and before her there was a baby Lentel. And I don't have an oven at all. And we love bread.
I read here about the magical properties of Panasonic, French bread they say for 6 hours is much better than for 4 Well, in general, I was impressed by the number of programs and variations ... rye bread, again in its own mode, and in mine, if only the manual mode is adjusted ...

Isn't there any special Panasonic?

... I have a Panasonic. I bake sourdough bread almost every day. In the evening I put it on with a delay, in the morning I take it out. The result is always good.

I have a Panasonic 253. I have been baking in it weekly for many years. I am completely delighted with it and am not going to change it for a new stove. Very handy, durable bowl, dispenser for dried fruits and nuts. Kneading my dough on dumplings, baking black and white bread, often baking muffins in it. In general, an irreplaceable assistant in the kitchen!

Beard, Olya, see the condition of the bucket, if not too shabby, you can take

Over time, all the same, the work of the HP gradually deteriorates. The term of work is generally calculated for 7 years. Not by chance, obviously.
My first Panas 255 is already 8 years old. Bought a new 2502 to replace. The difference in the quality of the work immediately became noticeable.
The old HP will now go to the dacha to replace the Kenwood 450 with a leaking bucket, which has long lived there.
I would still take a new one, if it's a matter of price - choose a cheaper model.
The second-hand has already worked out some resource and you get HP, as it were, with a shorter period of high-quality operation.
Of course, if the HP is in good condition, it will bake. But the coating of the bucket is no longer the same, and usually the mixer begins to peel off, its fastening gets loose, it gets stuck in the bread, the modes themselves somehow change, of course, not so completely, but when compared with the new HP it is noticeable.
I noticed the difference on mine.

Yes, it is important here how often HP was used or occasionally, etc. If 3 times a week or more and the stove is more than 2 years old, then I would think. Well, no one will say this.

Beard,
Olya, my 253rd is already 12 years old, she works like a clock. The only thing is badly I began to jump out of bread from it, but after standing for 5 minutes in the off state. jumps out with a bang. But still there is a used one and not knowing how it worked for people, you have to buy a new one.

I would not buy a used one either, perhaps the old woman has almost exhausted her resource, and repair and replacement of spare parts costs half the cost of a new stove.

Used it can be different. My relative had a Polaris multicooker presented on the cabinet for three years in a box. Only once did she cook porridge in it to check the work after the purchase and threw it on the cabinet, because a relative does not recognize any gadgets besides the stove. She gave it back at a flea market for 1/3 of the price. I don’t think the one who bought it was sorry
I would advise you to consider the unit and you will immediately see how shabby it is with life.
If it is lying on the cabinet or dusty in a box under the table, then in my opinion it is quite possible to buy

Hello! I ask you for advice, I wanted to buy a new Panasonic bread maker, but they gave me a used sd 253 in good condition (played enough quickly, the coating is in a bucket without scratches).Does it make sense to buy a new one? Maybe the new models have some essential features that the older models lack. I want to bake bread on weekends (French, rye) and use it intensively for kneading dough for dumplings, yeast.

It makes no sense. 253rd wonderful bread maker! She can do anything! Just her program of Italian bread in modern dumplings, that's all. And the dough on dumplings can be kneaded on the pizza program, only after 15 minutes from the start of kneading, interrupt the program.
@Lena@
Andreevna, thank you! Share your dumplings dough recipe. I tried to bake Italian bread according to the recipe from the instructions, but it didn't work out. Then I saw here that the recipes are wrong.

@Lena@,
