Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls)

Ingredients

Chicken fillet (I have a breast + boneless thigh) 300 g
boiled rice 2 tbsp. l.
Cheese 50 g
White bread 30 g
Milk 50 ml
Salt 0.5 tsp
Seasoning for chicken 0.5 tsp
Mozzarella (I have 125 g
Onion 0.5 heads
Ground black pepper taste
Vegetable oil for lubricating forms

Cooking method

  • Soaked white bread in milk.
  • Chicken fillet, soaked white bread with the remaining milk and chopped onion in a blender Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls)
  • I put it in a bowl. I added boiled rice, grated cheese, salt, pepper, seasoning Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls)
  • I mixed everything well.
  • The molds are well oiled, in the depression and on top of the clamping part of the mold. The minced meat was divided in half, since 2 parties are obtained from this quantity. I rolled balls out of one with wet hands and put them in molds. In those forms in which there will be a smaller ball filling, a little less than a walnut. And in those forms with which it will be necessary to cover the filling more, so that the ball is above the edge of the form - and I did not crush them, but on the contrary, left it as it is. It seemed to me that with this method, the adhesion of the halves is better and they do not need to be additionally lubricated with anything (for example, with protein. By the way, there is no egg in my minced meat)

  • Then I made depressions with the help of smaller molds, pressing so that the minced meat at the edges went slightly beyond the edges of the molds to the top

  • I cut the mozzarella in large pieces in half, and then into 6 pieces and put them in the middle of the grooves, somewhere 2 pieces went Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls)
  • Top covered with more balls Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls)
  • And, throwing back the handle with the molds, what happened
  • Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls)
  • And I didn't have to help anything. For myself, I realized that it is necessary to lubricate the molds well with oil, but do not tamp the minced meat in them, then they themselves pop out. Plus I rolled balls with wet hands! Now she carefully tilted the mold and the first ball jumped out onto her palm

  • which I touched up on the sides, smoothing out the minced meat, and put it in a baking dish, well oiled with vegetable oil.
  • Made the same from the second half of the minced meat and the remaining mozzarella. I got exactly 8 balls Chicken-rice-cheese balls with mozzarella (in the form for making balls).
  • Baked in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes until golden brown. Take a look in your oven.
  • For the experiment, the balls were laid out in rows. The first was laid with mozzarella down, that is, where the walls were thinner, and the second with mozzarella up. As a result, the mozzarella leaked out a little only in one ball - it is the first in the photo.
  • We ate ready-made chicken balls with homemade sauerkraut - it was very tasty for us!

  • And another ball in a cut

Cooking program:

Blender + ball mold + oven

Note

Finally, I got my shape with Ali and decided to cook the simplest balls in it in order to understand the principle of how much to put in the molds, how much and how to lubricate them so that it is easier to take out. Before the preparation itself, I asked my husband to drill holes on the bottoms of large cells - thanks Irina Irsha for advice ! In the end, I liked it! I will experiment further, including sweet and snack options.

Check mark, thanks for the detailed master class! For those in the tank, what are the drilled holes for? For myself, I realized some subtleties, like wet hands and the absence of the need to tamp the minced meat. Thanks again!!!

Galina Galochka, Irina wrote in Temka about the molds, that it seems that the finished balls should pop out better. Indeed, in metal meatball makers they are, though large. And I didn’t really understand yet how it would pop out without holes in my version - I have both oil and water. Maybe for other recipes it will help! We'll see
Thanks for stopping by! I will be glad if you mark something for yourself

galchonok, Galya, pretty balls turned out.
What diameter holes did you drill? I have not been able to tackle the holes for a month.

Elena, Svetathank you girls for stopping by!

What diameter holes did you drill?
All on advice Irina Irsha- first, the husband practiced on the handle, and then on the molds themselves, a drill with a diameter of 4 mm.

I have not been able to tackle the holes for a month.
And it happens to me, so as soon as I brought it from the post office, I asked to drill

Galina, many thanks for the recipe! I bought a uniform on Ali, made it - I really liked the balls! Husband and drilled holes in the form. The photo shows holes in the red hemispheres. Probably, you need to drill into whites too? We didn’t make holes in the white holes; the balls were not easily removed from them.

Jeanne, to your health and with a purchase! Holes, yes, and for whites, too. I am glad that the recipe came in handy and the balls were to your taste! Thank you for sharing your impressions!

Thank you too! And we will drill holes!
