Pie

Ingredients

glass 250 ml
Dough:
200 gr soft butter or margarine
200 g sugar
200 gr sour cream
2 eggs
1 bag of vanilla sugar
3 stacks flour
3 tea. baking powder

Cooking method

  • Mix flour with baking powder and knead the dough. The dough turns out to be very soft, sticky.
  • filling
  • 1 kg frozen cherries
  • defrost in a colander and dry thoroughly on paper towels.
  • fill
  • 400 gr sour cream
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 table. a spoonful of starch (regular, with a slide)
  • Mix sugar and vanilla sugar with starch. Sour cream and sugar mixture and beat gently with a mixer to melt the sugar.
  • Line a mold with a diameter of 28-30 cm (!) With baking paper. Pour the dough into it and distribute it in shape with wet hands, make the sides about 5 cm high.
  • Sprinkle the dough with starch.
  • Lay out the cherries. Fill with fill.
  • Bake at T 180 ° (convection-160 °) for 45 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Pie
  • I foolishly baked in a 26 cm mold, so the layer of dough turned out to be thick.
  • But delicious !!!

luchok
Cherry Pie, as I suspected, is VERY tasty, moist inside, crunchy dough
When I put it in the oven, I realized that there were not a single egg in it.
I wanted to get scared, but changed my mind ...
Thanks, Stеrn

And there are eggs in the dough recipe!
The fewer the eggs, the lighter the dough. See how great Luchok did it. Again, saving and lowering cholesterol.
Stern
Once it worked out, and there is nothing to talk about!
So you can go without eggs!

Stella, it's me again
Already 3 times I baked your cherry pie, and there are such beautiful pictures, but I still can't get out to hang out! Thank you dear. that I have found a wonderful use of frozen cherries from the freezer. Summer cherries were in bulk) my garden), and I was too lazy to cook something from it.
Tatjanka_1
Thanks for the delicious Cherry Pie, Stern, I did half the recipe.

Thanks again, Stern and I think many times for "Cherry Pai", I have now found where to attach the cherry, otherwise I have been lying idle in the freezer since summer. Delicious
Oksyusha
I cooked this cake twice, delicious, both times swept away in one evening. But today I looked at the photo of the original from the recipe and was upset: my pie on top was not ruddy, that is, the filling remained white, and the filling remained liquid until it cooled completely, although the sides (where the dough is) browned to a golden color no worse than on the picture. What's wrong? I don’t bother or I don’t report something
Stern
Oksyusha, welcome to our forum!

I am very glad that you liked the cake!

The fact that the filling has remained light, and the sides are browned, no one is to blame except your oven. Try putting the cake one level higher next time.

If the filling is thin, it means that the cherry has not been dried enough.

Oksyusha
Thanks for the advice, but I just don't have higher or lower levels, because my oven is not quite standard: a Panasonic convection oven of 42 liters, in convection baking mode 180 C and bake. And I'll try to dry the cherries
Stern
And the recipe says that in the "convection" mode, bake at 160 degrees! Maybe, due to the high temperature, it does not have time to bake evenly.
Oksyusha
Well, I don’t know, next time I will try to set the temperature to 160, only the baking time will probably be lengthened, although I bake at 180 - 55 minutes. And yet, my cherries turn out, as it were, in a fill, and not a fill on top, as in the picture And so I want everything to be right, something tells me which will be even tastier
Stern
I put the cherries on the starch tightly. I also press well with my hand.
And you seem to have a cherry in the fill pops up.
Galleon-6
Will it work with plums?
Stern
It will work out, only the plum must be solid.

Raise the topic), it is useless for such a recipe to gather dust on the shelf)) ...

I have never seen a 250 ml glass in an ingredient. Glass or ceramic? Grind or whole?
Marysya27
Kapet, Constantin, glass - Soviet granchak "to the eyeballs" Or any measured. I took 450g of flour.
