Baked Eggplant with Cheese, Pepper and Tomato (Multicuisine DeLonghi)

Ingredients

Large eggplant - 1 piece 300-350 g
Bulgarian pepper (I have yellow) half
Medium Tomato 1 PC
Hard cheese (I have - with walnuts) 100 g
Salt pepper taste
Vegetable oil 20 ml

Cooking method

  • This dish, without exaggeration, can be characterized by one of the favorite words of the bread-makers - "Die not fest!"
  • My husband and I opened our mouths.
  • It prepares very quickly and requires almost no physical effort - a real find!
  • So, we take a large eggplant and cut it obliquely, not very long ovals, 1.5 cm thick.In the recipe book for Kuzinka the authors advise to cut the eggplant lengthwise, in plates. Do not do that! Such eggplants will be sooo difficult to remove from Kuzka without crushing them - they are heavy and soft, so it will not be possible to "push" them onto the spatula. But ovals, no more than 10-12 cm long, jump out perfectly and look even and neat.
  • Dip a silicone brush into the pre-measured amount of vegetable oil and lightly grease the bottom of the Kuzka bowl. We spread the eggplants in it and use the same brush to distribute all the remaining oil over them (20 ml - exactly). Do not forget to add salt from the salt shaker on top.
  • Baked Eggplant with Cheese, Pepper and Tomato (Multicuisine DeLonghi)
  • I had an eggplant slightly larger than average, so there was a little free space in the bowl, but it was a pity to cut a new eggplant because of a couple of circles. Therefore, I left it as it is.
  • Now we close Kuzka, set the "Oven" mode, power level - 3, time - 10 minutes.
  • During this time, cut into cubes (about 7-10 mm) pepper and tomato, add salt and pepper to them (I did not add the latter, but sprinkled it on top of the eggplants), rub the cheese on a coarse grater* and mix with vegetables.
  • Kuzka squeaked, open it and spread (it is more convenient to do it with your hand) the cheese and vegetable mixture directly on the eggplant, in a slice. Now I sprinkled the top with a crushed mixture of peppers:

  • We close Kuzya and set the "Airfryer" mode, power level - 2, time - 12 minutes.
  • All!
  • As time passes, we open the lid, pick up the drool and take out the "Kuz'ka eggplants" with a curved spatula. Decorate with greens.

I did it a little differently: I added a finely chopped celery stalk. The filling turned out to be larger, and there was less cheese, compared to the total amount of vegetables. Yes, it also turned out to be more fusible - it dripped onto the eggplant and looked like soft mozzarella on pizza.
And I cut the eggplant not 1.5 cm thick, but 2 cm.
