Small tangerines 1 kg.
Lemon 1 PC.
Sugar 1 kg.
Water 1 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • Delicious, aromatic, tangerine jam with a pleasant bitterness can be prepared in different ways. Someone in Georgia makes jam from whole fruits, someone cuts tangerines into slices, and someone cooks them without the peel. In any case, the jam is very tasty. Cook for health!

  • Boil water separately in a saucepan, pierce the tangerines with a fork and put them in boiling water for a few minutes. This will remove excess bitterness from the fruit. Take out the tangerines and lay them out again on a dry towel.
  • Boil the syrup separately from one glass of water and 1 kg of sugar. Place the tangerines in the sugar syrup and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Set aside the dishes, let cool and put back on fire. We carry out this procedure 2-3 more times.
  • The juice should thicken. At the last cooking, add the squeezed juice of one lemon. Arrange in clean, dry jars and seal.
