I constantly have in my arsenal multi-ingredient spices from different manufacturers. Composing them yourself is a tedious business and entails the need to have in the house a million bags of various, probably not often needed, potions (although I already have a million bags, to be honest))). Therefore, I want to share with you what I prefer. And you will share what you prefer. We are talking specifically about specific seasonings of specific manufacturers, because only the lazy does not produce the same seasoning for pilaf, but very few seem to me very harmonious. I really love seasonings (literally a few of the most basic ones), because they can insanely colorize the simplest whipped-up dish.

My first criterion is naturalness. I do not admit incomprehensible additives.
2. Lack of thyme))). I can't stand its tart smell / taste. Because of what the ready-made seasonings "Provencal herbs" and "herbs of Italian cuisine" fell out of use.
3. NOT curry))). I do not like. Although it is available, I can add it in small quantities.

Most of all I love the seasoning for pilaf (although I have all the components of this seasoning separately and add them perfectly to pilaf, but I keep it ready anyway). Of the ready-made ones, about which I started the topic here, this one I liked the most:

Home cooking (it is finely ground) "For pilaf". It is also great for cooking side dish rice (in a multitude). Here's just rice to anything. The rice is beautiful, yellow with an enchanting scent of flowing spices. It is perfectly added to minced meat in the manufacture of manti and especially - using lamb in the filling (and you can make dumplings like that). And if you add pumpkins to the minced meat, then you will have a stunning Asian motif in the manti / dumplings.

in second place is this Kotani (large spices)

From the Home Kitchen series, I really like the Frying Chicken seasoning. She has a bright smell / taste of Abkhazian adjika. Remember. Was this one sold in banks in Soviet times, very salty? My mother. for the complete lack of any spices then, except for lavrushka and pepper, I got used to frying chicken with it. That's right, that's why for me it was exactly IT. Plus, I bake potatoes with her: pour a little sour cream, salt into cubes, mix, spread the chicken pieces on top, smeared with the same in the oven.

We buy ready-made seasonings in the store: who loves what and will advise

From this series "Stew vegetables", "Fry meat", "Cook chicken" did not like categorically.

For fish dishes I really liked this seasoning from Kamis from the fit up series, which I have now disappeared here. her in fish soup and when baking and stewing ... Very harmonious and successful.

We buy ready-made seasonings in the store: who loves what and will advise

I constantly use Kotani kharcho seasoning. The very same taste is very pronounced.

We buy ready-made seasonings in the store: who loves what and will advise

Now the home kitchen has a series of new seasonings, a whole battery of which I bought for testing. In spices I am harmful, what did not fit / did not like without a twinge of conscience I simply throw away. What else can I do with them? the packaging is like this. This particular one is from the Exclusive collection series. There is also a Russian collection, and so on. From the Russian I tried "For dumplings" (you can use minced meat when cooking, I put it in minced meat) - I didn't like it. I was highly recommended "For potatoes". But I could not buy it, and therefore I don’t know yet what it is.

For a start, I think quite enough. I look forward to your recommendations.

What topic will be interesting - useful!
I like this iodized salt with spices from the "Costa del" company. The most beloved, simple, balanced this one is 7 herbs. Also from this series are good "12 vegetables and herbs" - for broths and soups, it seems to me. "For chicken" is also good, and not only for chicken. But "Provencal herbs" and some other, also unusual, we did not like.
The weight of the can is 400 grams. No monosodium glutamate, of course.

I don't like curry either.

Here is a very correct characterization. I also have one. Like. Really simple, straightforward and balanced. I like to grate her chicken before baking, for example.

Why I created a separate topic: who to buy. It is due to the fact that I do not want to stumble upon some broken sticks and other straw))). But you don't want to mess around and make really complex multi-component seasonings. Provencal herbs are quite simple, there are only 3 main herbs, but more complicated is not ... It is also not easy to compose a seasoning according to the book: you know what the final taste and "sound" will be (although I have Pokhlebkin's book)). Having fiddled and compiled, you can get something not what you want. For example, I bought 15 pieces of ready-made pilaf seasonings. I chose one. They even sent me from Uzbekistan to try them - very good ones, but you can't buy them here anymore!))) Although it is in pilaf that I only add the ready-made seasoning for "beauty" and additions. Because I sprinkle cumin, barberry and pepper myself fresh (freshly ground cumin, madly fragrant))).

What an interesting topic.
I, too, have a bunch of all sorts of spices. But last year I stopped buying multi-piece. Disliked. I left it only for pilaf. But just now I was impatient to buy smoked paprika, well, I love it. I have never seen it in retail stores. I had to look in the tyrnet. I decided to order in Aidigo. But ordering one can is somehow frivolous, not according to ours. Therefore, for the sample I took a universal one, for soup, for Korean carrots and for grilling. Naturally, all without glutamates. Universal did not surprise with anything, it looks like many. I liked it for the soup,We buy ready-made seasonings in the store: who loves what and will advise vegetables are chopped very finely, even when boiled, they do not turn into rags, there is allspice and lavrushka, too, very finely chopped.
I add a little Korean seasoning to salads. I liked the grill too.
Since I ordered large cans, I donated a part to my friends. Now I also want to order other seasonings to try.

Almost all the spices of the "Magic Tree" are very tasty (I didn't like it only for borsch). I constantly buy spices from this company, I really like them. And, they also have very good yeast, without any additives and they raise the dough well.
Musenovna
Tatyana, I also do not buy in the markets. Firstly, to increase weight, they often mix in excess (a well-known fact), and secondly, it is stored in open containers (it is exhaled and it is not known what bacteria and dirt flies into these bags).
I like to buy spices in factory packages and often bring them from other countries. I will definitely post my favorites

Nata, the topic is wonderful, I subscribe. I also have some kind of passion for buying spices, but the funny thing is that then I only use a small part of them. Recently visited the supermarket with my husband. He specially took me to a rack with spices, raised me for a long time, but did not buy anything. ("You've got this stuff ..." - I don't know what he wanted to say by that) I just became careful with spices, because I was not accustomed from childhood. And somehow she poured "Khmeli-suneli" and expected some familiar aroma, but only ruined the dish.

And lately I have been buying herbs and spices in Indian spices stores. The price is low and they are very fragrant, the choice is huge.

Or maybe there was an unsuccessful hops-suneli? Because I love this seasoning. Recently found in ... Lines, I think. absolutely amazing bag, but so nondescript - creepy. This is not outright hops-suneli, but an analogue, but this is how the bouquet is composed - I just moore))).

I'm in defense of Curry.
You need to try it out. I often cook vegetable puree soups with cheese, and so there Curry is very harmonious. I put a soft curry and a pinch of spicy curry. The soup is not tasty without this spice.
I was also surprised by the new use of turmeric. I always put it in dough for a nice yellow color. Somehow I sprinkled turmeric on mackerel, which I was going to bake. I liked it very much, since then it's the only way.

I love very much all the spices of the "Magic Tree" company. And the one for the fish that was discussed here, and the hops-suneli from them are very good and I bought the Caucasian seasoning from them, I liked everything. And I also love homemade soft cheeses (when you make it yourself).

By the way, I have such a universal seasoning, which almost in all places is "For pilaf", "We are frying a chicken" and here is Adjika Ulyapskaya. I love the Caucasian note in my dishes. But for the Asian I really like pilaf spices. If you pour them into the minced meat thickly, and also add the pumpkin cut into cubes. then you will have manty with a pronounced Asian note. And here I also wrote on another forum, if you need to quickly and for a lot of people - stew to help you (good) and pilaf spices. It turns out a la pilaf. Although not pilaf at all, it is very tasty:

I usually take 2.5 standard multi-cups of rice (usually medium-grain or round-grain, and Basmati or Jasmine - finally a dump head) for 1 standard tin can of stew (a can of an army stew type, I buy only the VS production of Bereza Belarus. Multi-glass usually 160 ml. I have 6 cartoons. and everyone has such a glass. You also need 1 large carrot and 1 really large onion.Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion and fry it all in vegetable oil until beautiful. Rinse the rice, pour into a bowl, pour 2.5 cups to the desired mark (just short of), pour carrots with onions, a jar of stew there, mix, salt, add fatty spices (I put at least 1 standard tablespoon from HP, it is 15 ml; from the ready-made ones I really like from Home Kitchen "For pilaf", there is a fine grind, the very thing for such a case), turn on the "Rice" program, that is, like ordinary rice cooking and that's it. I have a Panasonic rice cooker and a regular white rice program without pressure. It does not have any pressure cooking modes at all. Here.

I ran through three pages in one breath - I made so many discoveries! Thank you girls!
For example, I never took Home Kitchen seasonings, I don't know why
Now I will definitely try.

I would like to draw your attention to the Camis seasonings in bags:
1. "Seasoning for POTATO dishes".
Ingredients: salt, savory, onion, garlic, coriander, red bell pepper, marjoram, dill, chili.
In a slow cooker, potatoes with this seasoning are baked (not fried), and the color and aroma of fried potatoes. (Fried is harmful)
2. "Seasoning for Plov"
Ingredients: salt, red bell pepper, garlic, coriander, black pepper, sugar, turmeric, onion, caraway seeds, chili, parsley, dill, fenugreek, Roman cumin, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, anise.
3. "Seasoning for CHICKEN"
Ingredients: salt, red sweet pepper, white mustard, garlic, coriander, turmeric, fenugreek, chili, ginger, cinnamon, cumin, cloves, nutmeg.
So much enough mixture that the chicken, grease the rast with butter and sprinkle with this seasoning, shove it into the sleeve and into the oven or cartoon!

Thank you all for sharing experience
