Nellia Alec, looks like rye bread, but does it taste like? I just didn't do anything with flaxseed flour.

Beautiful and can not be tasty)))) ... but does linseed flour give such a color?
Admin

Yes, flaxseed flour gives the bread a dark color, and a specific crumb and taste. You must definitely taste it
There are recipes with flaxseed flour on the forum - you need to make a request in the search engine (two search lines at the top)

The bread turned out beautiful

I looked through everything before exhibiting. I tried recipes from the Internet, and they are basically similar, in the end I made the previous version like buckwheat, but I decided to add water, obviously a lot, but the bun was good, I really liked the bread. And here is buckwheat based on the recipe I baked.

On the pack (blue) with flaxseed flour is written the recipe for "Flaxseed sticks". I do these sometimes, only I make the size like a chocolate bar, but a little thinner. It turns out a crust on top, but softly inside. The color is the same. The taste is interesting, it must be tasted.
I bookmark the recipe. I'll go now and put some bread.

I liked it both in taste and in color, (I don't really like rye) I tried to add cocoa, and here the color is unusual and pleasant ...

Irene , I love rye, but I liked this one much more. We do not sell flaxseed flour, I will order through Dom-Bread.
Irene Malysheva
We sell it only in one store, I saw it and bought it, tried oatmeal, buckwheat and now flaxseed ... It seems to me that 2-color bread from it will be very beautiful, I will try it next. time

Still useful
The Internet says that there is also such. I have not met yet:

Flaxseed Bread

The price is two times lower than what I bought in the supermarket.

I forgot the main thing! I baked bread, I liked it very much. Previously, I baked according to the Machine recipe with fruit puree and flaxseed flour. Delicious too.
Thank you!

SilverLily, thanks, already called, I will go to place an order, but it will not be soon. The most important thing is to have it!

Can.
But, milk powder thickens the bread dough. Then adjust the flour-liquid balance, track the consistency of the dough.
Want to know everything
You can do without milk powder, for almost two years I have been baking bread according to this recipe (for 400 g of flour in total). The bread is always fluffy, silk, as the girls wrote in other topics.
And by the similarity to rye:
When baked from Garnets flour, the bread turned out to be cocoa-colored, and more silky, airy
Now I bought linseed from Pudov - in my opinion it is a little rougher (grinding, it even seemed more oily) - the bread became darker, heavier.
I have already added oatmeal to this bread and porridge (I read Tanina's topics,Admin,), it turned out deliciously, the porridge is not felt, and the bread is slightly different, the crust is more crisp.
And the last time I added flour from wheat germ - here the bread became like whole grain and crumbles more, in my opinion.
In short, flaxseed bread is now among our regulars. I recommend to everyone!

Grigorieva, Thank you. I will buy flaxseed flour and bake.

For some reason, the bread did not work out, did not rise and did not bake. Made strictly according to the recipe. Bread maker Panasonic 2500. For the first time in Panasonic bread did not work!

Grigorieva, Nelly, I apologize for running Temko, but I want to cheer up Marisha
Marina, I am recalculating the recipe so that the whole flour is 400 g, that is, wheat flour - 320 g, flax - 80 g (the rest is proportionally reduced). When I baked linseed bread for the first time, I put 340 g of wheat, and only 60 g of linseed bread, but even in such proportions, the taste of flax was noticeable. Gradually increased the amount of flaxseed flour. Now I'm adding according to my mood
For the total weight of flour 400 g of liquid I take 300-320 g, depending on the moisture content of the flour.Liquid - because I use either milk, or whey, or water, sometimes potato broth.
When kneading, I follow the "kolobok", it is sticky, with a small skirt, it can rise a little along the walls (This is with linen from Pudov, as it seemed to me. When linen Garnets was, the kolobok was sticky, but less creeping).
I cannot say that I am doing everything correctly, but I am satisfied with the result as a whole. Sometimes you don't like a bumpy roof, but you still need to have the right amount of yeast. I use pressed "Lux", 10 g - if the yeast is not very "vigorous", 8-9 - if the yeast is fresh-fresh.
I bake in Panasonic 255, Basic mode, medium size, medium crust

The first time linseed in general plunged into melancholy! I tried so hard, but it turned out to be a brick, hard, dull, with a thick crust. But the taste was felt - the addition of linseed added some special aroma. I read the reviews of the girls, read Romina-Tanya's advice, bought fresh yeast and decided for myself to start like this: if there are 400 g of flour in flaxseed bread, then I take 300 g of liquid - this is less than what they write on the Internet, but definitely more than with pure wheat. Gradually it began to work out.Now once a week it looks like linen is baked in our house ...

Grigorieva, Nelly, I'm sorry ... [/ spoiler] Tatyana, thank you very much for your help! I often leave the tablet, and there it is not always possible to answer.

Marisha, Here is my linen, baked 2 days ago. And baked on the rye program. The roof didn't work out a bit. But I haven't been following the kolobok lately.

can you describe how you baked
Certainly can. Baked strictly according to the recipe. Bread maker Panasonic 2500 (Rye mode is not provided) Basic mode, size L, dark crust. Bookmark: 1.5 teaspoons of Pakmaya dry yeast, 400 g of Tikhoretskaya bakery wheat flour, 100 g of flaxseed flour, 1.5 teaspoons of salt, 1.5 tbsp of sugar. spoons, milk powder 1.5 tbsp. spoons, 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds, water 370 ml, vegetable oil Kuban 1 tbsp. the spoon. I bake good fresh yeast on them all the time, I try very good wheat flour, I only buy it, I doubt flaxseed flour, because I don’t like Pudov at all, but I only found flaxseed flour. While the smell was baking through the apartment was incomparable, and the result was upset.

Marisha Aleksevna,
On the website, the manufacturer recommends using flaxseed flour "replacing wheat by 10-20%". You try to start with a small amount (in the recipe it turns out 20%, and you start with 10% - that's 50 grams). But then less water will be needed.
When I used Pudov flour, I noticed that the dough was heavier and more viscous than with other flax flour.
And to help my Panasonic, I mix both types of flour evenly while they are "dry", in a bucket of a bread machine. After the flaxseed is thoroughly mixed with wheat, I add the rest of the products.
Grigorieva, Nellia, excuse me for telling a little bit about how I managed to make friends with flaxseed bread.
Grigorieva
Marisha Aleksevna, I baked twice more and everything is fine, though the roof is not always even. We do not sell flour Pudov, I take Garnets. I also brought bread from the All-Russian Exhibition Center with flour from home, but I haven't missed it yet.

Good evening. But my bread did not work out. I myself am to blame, I made a mistake in laying the water, did not add 40 ml., I miscalculated. It was not possible to correct the error along the way. hoped for "Maybe". As a result, the output is a dull, yeast-smelling brick. But this is not a claim to the author, but to herself. I will definitely try again and give a photo report on occasion.

So I became the proud owner of a Panasonic 2510 bread machine. Frankly speaking, I am delighted with it.After 15 years of using the previous LG bread maker, which I was quite happy with, it turned out that there is even better. The crust is amazingly colored, breads according to any recipe are simply wonderful. Flaxseed bread on LG turned out to be heavy, but now it is simply delicious. My recipe is this:
1. Yeast - 1.3 tsp.
2. Salt - 1 tsp.
3. Sugar - 2 tsp.
4. Flaxseed flour - 50 gr.
5. Rye flour - 100 gr.
6. Wheat flour - 370 gr.
7. Rast. oil - 2 tbsp. l.
8. Water - 380 ml.
The bread is simply excellent, there is no specific flavor of flax, The weight of the bread is 750 grams. I will definitely take a picture next time. I bake on the main mode, the crust is medium. Moreover, according to the same recipe, I baked buckwheat bread with flax, instead of rye flour, I added the same amount of buckwheat. Good luck to all bakers !!!

Great recipe!
Made on HP Moulinex OW251, "Bread without salt" mode (analogue of the main one). The changes were minor: linseed oil instead of sunflower, and instead of sesame - flax seeds and fried onions.
There were fears at first that the dough would come out thin, but no - my flaxseed flour was too dry, and took all the water, the bun turned out to be excellent. As a result, the bread came out excellent both in form and in content. Next time, I think, I'll do it on a medium crust and put some Provencal herbs.
Thank you very much!

sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
salt - 1 tsp.

Need an opinion, what is wrong here: there is little water ?, little wheat flour, but a lot of flaxseed flour, or something else?
There is another recipe, there is just a lot of liquid, although the recipe itself is interesting with cornstarch and rice flour. Where to write about it, in rice bread?
$ vetLana
Kasilya, Ludmila, a lot of flaxseed flour. Look at the author of this recipe for the ratio: 4 to 1.
Try to take less linen next time, for example, 450 and 50. See if you like it or not. Then you will adjust to your taste.

Ludmila, the seeds made the dough heavier. Flaxseed flour is very specific, also heavy.

My family really likes the taste of this bread, thanks for the recipe! At the same time, I never got a high bread, and I could not achieve a flat roof, although I tracked the bun, changed the proportions of flour, water and oil. One fine day the house ran out of flaxseed flour, and I added 60 grams instead. flaxseed porridge, replaced 100 gr. wheat flour for whole grain, and just in case I added a spoonful of gluten. The result exceeded all expectations - the bun after baking is higher than the bucket, the roof is flat, on one side it has fallen a little. And since the porridge was with apples and cinnamon, the aroma of the bread turned out to be dessert (and how it smelled in the dining room during baking !!!), but the taste is very pleasant, all the cinnamon went into the aroma, the crumb is tender.
