Roasted sunflower seeds in multicuisine DeLonghi

Ingredients

Fresh sunflower seeds 2-3 st.
Rock salt (optional) 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Most people love roasted seeds! Many are secret, but we do not hide our love, and in the summer at the dacha we do not hesitate to gnaw with the whole family for sincere conversations. So I decided to use "Kuzka" for frying sunflower seeds. And what, let him work - stir and fry, while I’m doing something else more interesting than standing over the frying pan and stirring, constantly trying, ready - not ready!
  • - We wash the seeds well in three waters or in running water. Let the water drain.
  • - Directly wet seeds are thrown into a bowl, poured with oil, sprinkled with salt on top (this is for amateurs) and turn on the "Oven" program, the second heating level for 15 minutes.
  • After 13 minutes, just in case, try it, if not to your taste, we add another two minutes. Nevertheless, heating may differ in different devices, and frying seeds is a delicate matter - it is important to catch the very moment.
  • Pour the seeds into a bowl. Shake off excess salt.
  • For even heating, it is better to wrap them in a dry towel or newspaper for five minutes.
  • Fried evenly, cleaned well even by hand.
  • Well, let's click together?

Note

Just in case, I will clarify in my stove in the "Oven" mode, the stirrer is working.

I sent the recipe for appetizers, because fried seeds can be served with beer. Moderators, if you put it in the wrong place, please fix it!

Nadya, thanks! This is me so as not to forget which mode to turn on, and how long to fry! I fried it twice, the first stood a little, the second time I wrote it down on a piece of paper, and it accidentally went into the furnace. Now I won't lose, maybe someone else will use the algorithm.
And Voronezh seeds are the most delicious for me! All the relatives from your place are from your mother!

In this oven is closer how fried in the oven is obtained. On the frying pan, the most! But it's dreary when there are a lot of them, or a lot of things to do.

Oh, Olga, thank you very much for such a seemingly simple, but relevant recipe! Tomorrow I'll fry it, but I won't add salt.

No. I heard that they are soaked. The children and I just added salt during frying. I do not wash them (I know they are dirty). They then fry for a very long time.

I always wash raw seeds before frying under running water.

Either nuts or seeds should be tried. Seeds in our area are not very popular, but you can find them, but nuts are heaped up .. And the function of roasting nuts = seeds at the roaster. Now I've watched the instructions .. I'll try. Sweat I'll write it off ..
What kind of roaster do you want, what brand?

Olga! I was choking with saliva!
I remember as a child we fried seeds in a frying pan with oil and salt until they clicked ... And this smell hovers again
Now there are no such tasty seeds ((
Damn, I'll go at least some tea with halva instead.

Olenka, for me, seeds were once the best delicacy. Fried often and in the same way, with salt. Something they haven't indulged in for a long time. We need to correct the situation. An excellent recipe for owners of ovens with a stirrer. I don't have one, but there are enough pans to remember this fun.

I still need to make a note - A you how to fry seeds?

I have been drying seeds in the oven on a baking sheet for a hundred years, 2 liters of seeds at once, all were lovers litter gnaw
AG is also such a wonderful semkosushk - I put a 40 * 60cm ironing net on the stand, it is wide enough, with a bend on the walls of the bowl, I pour a liter of seeds, cover it with excess mesh, 150 * min 15-20
and my seeds are also thoroughly, with hot water, a bowl-colander to help

Previously, relatives from the Don brought such sunflower seeds .. Every year they went to have a rest "to the Don" as savages .. but where exactly, I don't even know .. and now there's no one to ask ..

wash, salt, sprinkle with oil, 5-7 minutes. Shoots nothing. peanuts can be fried in the same way.
Natalo4-ka
And we fry in the microwave. But I fry for 5 minutes at the second power, in 3-4 approaches. Because a lot at once, and if they are turned on for a long time, they burn in the center of the saucepan, but they remain damp along the edge. Mikra will beep, I’ll go and prevent a new start. And before in a cauldron I fried, but you can't leave it, you need to stir all the time.
Olga, we don't have a stove, but thanks for the reminder. I need to buy a couple of cans of seeds, fry. They bring to us from Ukraine, tasty and many different varieties, sold in liter cans in the markets.

Rada-dms, I finally fried the seeds in Kuzinka. Sprinkled with olive oil and did not salt. True, I had them about a liter jar, so I set 25 minutes and the 3rd level. It turned out super

Yes, Ol, everything turned out to be very simple. Now here's another problem - to find large tasty seeds on the market. And try to save your teeth.

my gas oven is not very new, so what it is, 2 liters of washed seeds is just a baking sheet in a 4-burner gas. stove, dry for at least an hour

and in the princess it is good to fry seeds - a liter of washed seeds - 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off

Quote: Belka13
And try to save your teeth.
to buy peeled seeds, they are fried as well as * dressed *, and they are good for halva - ready-made already

peeled can be dried with lean fragrant oil
Belka13
Irsha, peeled not so tasty. The husk retains its aroma and taste, without them it is not the same.
Irgata

raw seed and peeled and unpeeled - raw

but peeled, it is just itself enveloped in oil and salt, and not a skin

and the question was - how to save teeth - cleaned, no need to peel

Belka13
If the seeds are peeled not very long ago, the aroma persists. But usually they lie in warehouses for a while, when you open the package - you don't feel any smell.

I take unpeeled seeds in a bag (large, 30 kg) from the market - there is also no smell, they do not smell raw

I also take peeled ones right away in that plastic bag, from which they usually scoop out for weight, so - I can say - simple raw seeds do not smell

if you take such bags in supers, then perhaps they are a little flavored, for * beauty *
Belka13
We are capricious
Rada-dms
Belka13, Irsha, I am from the aroma of fried sunflower seeds! And my husband doesn't feel it at all! The main thing for me is that the seeds are fresh!
Belka13
Rada-dms, Olga, from fried sunflower seeds the aroma is incomparable, yes! I'm crying about raw. They often do not work at all.
Irgata
Quote: Belka13
They often do not work at all.
What does raw rice, raw peanuts, raw beans, beans, etc. smell like? almost nothing
and cooked - acquire their own aroma, heat treatment releases the smell

raw seeds also do not smell anything special, which does not mean that they are of poor quality

just low-quality seeds start * smell *
Belka13
Irina, so they don't get a pleasant aroma even when fried. These are the ones I write about. Maybe I'm not lucky for peeled seeds, although in our region they are actively grown by whole plantations. Therefore, you have to be content with unshelled
Irgata
we also grow our own seeds, but the oily varieties are quite small, they go on sale larger, and they are often dryish
........................ ........................ .....
dry the seeds, spread the rag, pour the seeds onto the rag, cover with a rag and beat the seeds through the rag with a rolling pin, not much = most of the seeds will peel off

at least - it will be much easier to peel off such beaten seeds with your hands
Belka13
Irsha, Irish, thank you, this method was unknown to me I apologize for the stupid question - do we beat them after frying?
Irgata
yes, raw they are plastic
Rituslya
Oh,OlenkaThank you very much for the recipe!
How cool and simple!
I like seeds very much, but I also really do not like to fry them. It is such a dreary task to constantly stir them that patience is not enough and they start to burn. Brrr.
And here everything is very easy and fast! Yohu!
Olenka, thank you very much !!!
Rada-dms
Rituslya, Ritochka! So I, from "dislike", thought of this method! Well, I'm very glad that you liked my idea too! Well, let's sit and click? !!! : girl_love: Moreover, you need to cook mulch!
