Green peas, canned in an autoclave or any pressure cooker

Ingredients

Green peas
Salt
Sugar
Water

Cooking method

  • Green peas, canned in an autoclave or any pressure cooker
  • Peel the pea pods.
  • Boil a saucepan with water, salt and pour the peas into the water.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Drain the water.
  • Arrange the peas in jars, add a little sugar and salt each.
  • Fill with water, even cold.
  • We roll up the jars.
  • If we cook in an autoclave with a cassette, then any cans and lids are possible. If we cook in a pressure cooker, then only with screw lids.
  • I cooked in a pressure cooker. We put cans, fill with water up to the maximum mark. I got it up to the shoulders of the jars.
  • We put "high pressure", usually 1.7 atmospheres, for 5 minutes. Do not relieve pressure forcibly!
  • After the automatic release of the pressure, we take out the cans, tighten the lids a little more ... and that's it ...

Note

The most important thing! In no case do we throw away the leaves of pea pods! Let's dry!

And what is bad about an ordinary Soviet pressure cooker? Well, there is no pressure regulation there, so what? Of course it will work!
