Cooking method

  • The dish is as old as the world, but I still want to bring it to your attention.
  • Cut the boiled-smoked brisket into small cubes and fry in a skillet (until the fat is melted).
  • In the melted fat, fry the onion (chopped quite finely) and carrots (grated), add a little ketchup, a spice from the Kotanyi porcini mushrooms and herbs mill, suneli hops, a little salt. If there is not enough fat, add a little vegetable oil.
  • Put the brisket and vegetables fried in spices in a pot, put a can of Bonduelle red beans with a small amount of liquid from the beans in the same pot.
  • We put the pot in a cold oven and gradually bring the temperature to 200 degrees. After 20 minutes, put finely chopped parsley and garlic in a pot. Mix the contents of the pot thoroughly. Place the pot in the oven for another 20 minutes.

Serve the dish with grilled eggplants and peppers.
The same dish works very well with roasted chicken breast or roasted turkey breast.
I use canned beans sometimes, but more often I cook it myself (not always, since the process is quite time consuming).
Any vegetable dishes can, of course, be cooked over an open fire in a thick-walled dish, in a slow cooker, and even in a pizza maker, but it is most delicious in the oven!

I had boiled white beans. I replaced the ketchup with a blasted tomato, the brisket with baked chicken and a small piece of smoked sausage. Very little sausages, for a smoky smell. And I like serving these beans with pasta.
