Ingredients

milk 500 ml
sugar 150 grams
wheat flour / grade 85 grams
cocoa 25 grams
egg C1 4 pieces
vanilla taste
salt pinch
butter 125 gram

Cooking method

  • Melt the butter and cool.
  • Divide the eggs into whites and yolks.
  • Beat the yolks with sugar until whitening.
  • Sift flour and cocoa. Stir.
  • Add oil in parts.
  • Pour milk in portions.
  • The dough is very thin.
  • Whisk the whites until crisp.
  • Add portions to the dough.

I've done it twice already. Once strictly according to the recipe and in a good electric oven with convection. I didn't really like it - it didn't bake well, although it kept it longer than the specified time. The taste was bland.
The second time in a gas primitive oven turned out very well. Instead of cocoa, I took chocolate in powder, added vanillin to the milk. Bakes 2 times longer than indicated in the recipe. All layers are well expressed, the taste is bright.

Yesterday I baked this cake for tea.
I read the recipe carefully and was reinsured and poured the dough into two forms. Baked for 50 + 10 minutes at 150 C. The herringbone-shaped cake is baked very well and the layers are clearly visible.

And the second in a larger form, when it began to turn over, ended up in the middle of the liquid, so everything that got into the plate when turning over was poured into the mold again and baked for another 20 minutes.

And due to the fact that I disturbed the dough in a large form, the layers turned out to be not even, but did not affect the taste at all.
