Natasha, I did it strictly according to the recipe, weighed all the grams. I just took white sugar, but there was no brown sugar at the right moment. For some reason the mass turned out to be very thick. There is a stake on a stick in the photo. Could it be that the glucose syrup is also thick from this?
Twill - airy decor
Here's what happened. Large such bubbles came out
Twill - airy decor
I really liked the taste, interesting!
I didn't have time to apply, I got sick and I designed the cake in a simple way, already with the last bit of strength ...
prona
Elena, the end result is perfectly normal. And the fluidity of the mass depends on the temperature in the room and how long it is ready to stand. There is also a lot of oil, it immediately grasps (if you make a large amount, it is not so noticeable). And I never did it with white sugar, but his grinding is finer and dissolves faster. Maybe this also influenced the fluidity of the mass?
Elena_Kamch
Natasha, I stirred and it was immediately thick, did not stand at all. Next time I'll try with brown
I just thought, if the mass is thinner, then the bubbles are smaller. No?
prona
No, in the oven then everything will melt and the density of the mass does not matter.
Elena_Kamch
Natasha, Thank you! I will try again
prona
To your health! In fact, not much arises with it, but the result is excellent! Good luck!

can glucose syrup be replaced with honey?
Undesirable. I replaced it with inert sugar and the shine was gone.

the mirror glaze itself is sticky. Everything sticks to her
Right! The icing has frozen, the cake has moved and can be decorated. Only those parts that we stick in are made as close as possible to the recoil or we insure with a toothpick. They can "lie down" from moisture.

Here I am with the report. Any criticism is appreciated

prona, Natasha, thank you for sharing such beauty with us.
prona
Mahfuza, in principle, normal and even very! And pulled out on time. Maybe I put a little too much dye in red, but, in principle, it should be so.
Mari_M
Natasha, yes this is the second try. The first one didn't turn out very well. Thanks again!
And let's call you, if you can of course
prona
Sure you may! If this is the second option, then the coveted if Emil did not work out very well, then you can tint with gold-silver and everything is fine
Mari_M
I don't know exactly what it should be. But the second time the twill turned out much better. I will still train
prona
Mahfuza, next time you sit by the oven and watch, as soon as the bubbles slow down - pull out!
Mari_M
Okay I will try

In a hermetically sealed container. Shelf life maximum one week. I try to do a day or two until the "X" hour.

Elena, thanks in color it looks very good. The dye is ordinary, right? Fat-soluble is even better
Elena_Kamch

Regular dye
Dry kandurin
Elena_Kamch
Natasha, tell me, please, how does a twill with butter cream behave. Nothing happens to him? I want to plant butter cream flowers on it in places.
The cake is responsible, not for itself. I'm worried ...

Quote: prona
Fat-soluble is even better
I haven't got any fat-soluble ones yet ... The prices are inhumane ...
prona
Elena, in the air it becomes softer, and when in contact with the cream, too.
Here, on the glasses, he normally kept for 3 hours, and then became soft, but in appearance it did not show.
Twill - airy decor
So twill it at the very end
Elena_Kamch
Natasha, I'm asking again ... Do you know why twill can turn out soft? I bought another glucose syrup, it is thinner than the last one. I think maybe this is the point?
When she took the twill out of the oven, he behaved as usual. At first it was plastic, and then it hardened. But literally within half an hour I softened, moreover, as, approximately, the silicone mat became, it did not hold its shape at all

By the way, twill feels good on mirror glaze. That night stood in the refrigerator and looked decent Soft, of course, but he cut well with a knife.

ElenaI don't know the only thing that comes to mind is humidity. If it froze after cooking, then the process was correct, and then these are the storage conditions. I immediately put it in a box, because we have a crazy wet.
Elena_Kamch
Natasha, we also have humidity always mamadaragaya But, I think, the box will not save, anyway, put it on the cake in this humidity
This time I was not critical ... I just sometimes want it to be tough. If possible, I will try, maybe replace glucose syrup If there are changes, I will write
thrill
Natasha, thank you very much for showing such decor !!! I didn't know what to add to the cake. And then it dawned on me)))
I know where to go))) You have so many interesting things. I will definitely pick up something according to my strength)
It was interesting to watch what was happening in the oven. I wanted to make purple, but went too far with the dye. It turned out black.
It looked very nice on the cake. Customers really liked this decor. Immediately, what is it? Is it edible?))
I put it in a box unpainted.
It's a pity to see him poorly.

Love, glad it came in handy

Natasha, made a twill. Twill - airy decor... Thanks for the recipe!
Loksa
I made a twill, I also wanted black ones, like Lyuba,
The question arose, they are so fat! To miss each ?, I decided to catch a portion! : crazy: a lot turns out.
I painted with dry dye and the top product turned out well. Natasha, which side is the front? The dough was also thick, I thought that because of the glucose syrup, it froze a little while I was kneading. It melted in the oven and it worked, I think.
Baked at 160-170 for 3 minutes and another 2-3 minutes approximately. At 2 minutes, still large bubbles are an interesting large effect, at 3 minutes it is slightly smaller. I liked all the cookies: bright, like a creative. I don’t know how the final result is, but for now, more light colors are closer to me, although on: crazy: every taste!
prona
Loksaif the dough has thickened, this is normal. Will dissolve in the oven. The twill itself is greasy, you can lay it out on paper to absorb excess fat, or you can not throw it out. It will still be delicious.
With color, everything depends on you and what you need it for. And on the plus side that you can play with him.

Elena_Kamch
Loksa, Oksana, what an interesting twill you have turned out! Did you already cover him with kandurin?
Solid? Doesn't it bend?
Loksa
Helen, silver kandurin
Twill - airy decor

Does not bend, firm. Bent still warm
Elena_Kamch
What a delicious! And this moss is so green?
Loksa
Elena_Kamch, Elena, moss, yes.

Natasha, I brought you a lemon tartlet. Your twill made her look great!
Thanks for the light and beautiful decor! ❤
