Ingredients

Wheat flour 225 g
Baking powder 2 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Cream at least 33% fat 350 g
Eggs 150 g (3 pcs.)
sugar 225 g
vanilla

Cooking method

  • Yes, this is not a cupcake, this is what American cooks call “cake”. Something transitional between our biscuit and cake.
  • Soft, delicate, with a strong creamy aftertaste and vanilla aroma - this is how this cake can be characterized. It doesn't require any creams, no additives - the whipped cream cake is great on its own.
  • Make a cup of coffee and enjoy my favorite cake
  • This recipe is for 9-10 cups.
  • Well, everything is in order:
  • 1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl
  • 2. Whisk the chilled cream until soft peaks (we don't whip it as hard as for the cream)
  • 3. Slowly pour in the eggs, continuing to beat until smooth
  • 4. Add sugar and vanilla in small portions. This process will take us about half a minute.
  • 5. Gently add sifted dry ingredients in two steps and mix until smooth.
  • 6. Pour into a pre-greased form and send to the oven, preheated to 190C.
  • 7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, check readiness with a wooden skewer. A dry, clean skewer indicates that the cake is ready.
  • 8. Take the cake out of the oven and let cool in the form for 5-10 minutes. We relax the walls and carefully take out our pastries.
  • 9. Cool on the wire rack. After cooling, sprinkle with icing sugar.

Olga, thanks for the recipe for such a delicious cake! I baked it twice, the first time it was 30% cream and I added a piece of butter, the second time it was homemade cream, only 300g and I added 50g of yogurt, everything worked out great! Delicate, juicy, delicious !!!!

Indeed, the taste is a sensation, I clearly feel the cream, but I will admit it stuck in a metal form a bit in the corners, next time I will do it with parchment!
