Pilaf from black rice with apricots (multicooker Toshiba RS-18NMFR)

Ingredients

Black rice 2 mst.
Chicken bouillon 4 mst.
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.
Chopped onion 1 tbsp. l.
Fresh rosemary 1 tsp
Chopped apricot 1/4 mst.
Pine nuts 1/2 mst.
Salt 1 tsp
Black. hammer. pepper 1/2 tsp
Crispy fried bacon 4 tsp

Cooking method

  • The recipe is taken from the book "Recipes for delicious and healthy dishes" for the Toshiba multicooker.
  • In the recipe for olive oil, I took sunflower oil. The rest of the ingredients are exactly in the book.
  • 1. Pour oil into the MV bowl. To preheat the pan, press Menu, select Baking / Soup, set 5 min. button Min. and press Cooking / Reheating.
  • Add chopped onion, rosemary and stir. I sautéed. (Not written about this in the book)
  • 2. Put rice (I pre-washed several times), chopped apricots, pine nuts, mix everything.
  • 3. Add salt and pepper.
  • 4. Pour in chicken broth (I had it hot). Press Mixed Rice. Cook until tender.
  • I turned on the Mixed Rice Program twice as the liquid did not evaporate. Then on Heating for 30, 40 minutes.
  • 5. Put pilaf on a plate and top with pieces of fried bacon.

THANK YOU!
It's good that the cooking process is detailed, I am sure that another rice cooker with the same power will be able to cook this pilaf according to your advice.
I would like to see all these recipes separately on the forum, they will help not only the owners of Toshiba.
Rituslya
Svetlana, thank you very much for the interesting recipe!
So many interesting products for me, combined into one whole!
In general, I am cowardly for all sorts of innovations, but the taste is very curious. Maybe I will.
Thank you, Svetochka!

lettohka ttt, brendabaker, Rituslya, mamusi, thanks for stopping by and writing.
Ritochka and Margarito, since the recipe from the book to Toshiba, I decided to cook strictly according to the recipe, to see what would come of it.
What would I change. after trying the finished dish:
1) I would take dried apricots instead of fresh apricots, since the apricots have dissolved, but I would like to feel the pieces in the finished dish, I would have taken half a glass (two times more than in the recipe) dried apricots.
2) Chicken broth is too much, you need a little less.

very curious taste
The main thing is to like the smell of the Christmas tree and the taste of pine nuts.

Pralna, Light!))) You are smart! Not like me!
I just made a recipe for Toshka, but I got stuck, I still need to practice)))).
Yes, it's GOOD that you master the Book of Recipes and share with us, I have not seen this recipe there ~ but you paid attention and explained it to us. This is a big difference: on paper and in practice!

This recipe is good both in itself and as a basic one, on the basis of which you can prepare * Turkish pilav * (this is what my grandmother called a dish made of loose rice, dried fruits and nuts)
Our wild rice is a little expensive now, but a mixture of white and wild rice is quite affordable, and you can choose nuts to your taste, almonds, for example, or cashews.
The most important thing here is that now it is CLEARLY how to prepare it in principle, and you can make your own adjustments as much as you want.
Many thanks again to the author for the detailed cooking algorithm.
