Spicy vegetable sauce

Ingredients

ripe tomatoes 1.5KG
bulb onions 150 gr.
Bulgarian pepper 250 gr.
hot pepper 1 PC.
garlic 2 tooth.
vegetable oil 60 ml.
vinegar 9% 60 ml.
salt 1 tbsp. l.
sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Wash the tomatoes, cut arbitrarily. Peel and chop the onion, pepper, garlic.
  • Pass everything through a meat grinder, add salt, sugar and vegetable oil and bring to a boil, then pour in the vinegar and cook for 1 hour over low heat.
  • In the process of cooking, try the sauce, if necessary adjust the salt-sugar to taste, you can add spices (I do not add).
  • Pour the prepared sauce into sterilized jars, close hermetically. Cool the lid under a fur coat and put away for storage.
  • A wonderful sauce that goes well with meat and fish, you can simply spread on bread and eat with salted lard, add very well to minced meatballs, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, it is just wonderful to marinate the meat for subsequent grilling.
