  • We squeeze juice from sea buckthorn ..
  • I got 1.8 liters of juice out of 3 liters of sea buckthorn ..
  • I added 2 liters of sugar and 1/4 of a liter can ..
  • the proportion here is simple: you can count juice in liters .. even half liter cans, even glasses .. BUT! sugar is always 1 and 1/4 part .. from the container which was measured ..
  • Pour the juice into a saucepan, then add all the sugar .. and while stirring, let it boil a little .. and immediately remove from the heat ..
  • (boil a little, this is how you cook the jam .. that's how it began to rise with a hat - foam .. so immediately and remove from the heat)
  • we pour the syrup hot into sterile jars .. (although .. I know people who don’t bother with this .. and a little warm syrup is poured into plastic bottles from under the same Khan-Kul for example ...)
  • put the cooled syrup in the refrigerator .. At the exit I got 2 liters of 750 ml. syrup.
  • When you want to quench your thirst, pour some syrup into a glass, shaking it first (the photo shows that it is stratifying .. I deliberately waited to show it) and dilute with water ..
  • you will get a sunny color of the drink .. tasty and healthy!
  • For example, I also like to squeeze a couple of drops of lemon into it .. very tasty!

Girls, I have been making such preparations from sea buckthorn for a long time. I want to share my work with you if Zhenya will not mind ... its a theme after all .... I squeeze the sea buckthorn on "Strumka", add sugar 1: 1, leave it until the sugar is completely dissolved at room temperature, stirring occasionally. Then I pour it into sterilized jars up to the neck, pour 1 cm of sugar on top, close it with plastic lids and put it in the refrigerator for storage.
I make such "cold" jam, jelly, syrups from different berries (and a mixture of berries) in a 1: 1 ratio, provided that they are stored in the refrigerator. I did both 1: 2 and 1: 1.5, but it turns out very sweet.
And I was taught to make excellent sea buckthorn oil by a dentist-periodontist who uses natural medicines in her treatment courses and for various diseases. After "Strumka" I dry the cake, grind it on a coffee grinder, fill it with sunflower clarified, odorless purified oil 3-5 cm above the cake. And I put it to cook in a jar in a "water" bath for 24 hours. You can cook at any time convenient for you, with any number of hours and intervals between cooking. But the total should be 24 hours. In order not to forget, I write down how much I boiled and add up. And then I decant this thick oil after cooling down and into the refrigerator.
I use the cake with residual oil as a face scrub and also store it in the refrigerator.
