"Chilled" borscht

Cooled borscht

Ingredients

Beets (can be with tops) 125 g
Fresh cucumber 1 PC.
Boiled potatoes 1 PC.
Boiled egg 1 PC.
Green onions (plus greens if desired) taste
Horseradish ready 0.5 tbsp. l
Mustard ready 0.5 tsp
Sugar 0.5 tsp
Salt, pepper, vinegar taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the beets into cubes, pour boiling water with vinegar and cook for half an hour. Refrigerate. Add the diced potatoes, cucumber and egg and chopped green onions and everything else. Serve with sour cream and ice cubes.
