Caprice
In Israel, Kenwood Kcook, which is uncut, has dropped sharply. Now stands as the cheapest multicooker, or inexpensive relatively budget soup cooker.
When he first appeared with us, I really wanted to buy it then, but for the amount that it cost then, I did not dare. Now it has become 3 times cheaper.
Miranda
Caprice, because of the novelty, they significantly lowered prices for previous models. But I want something new
Caprice
Mirandauntil a new one is brought to us and the price for it is dropped, I will use this
It's a pity not to take for such a price as now
I couldn't even imagine that the price would fall so quickly. At first it cost us 1200 NIS, then 1000, then 700, now 400. Moreover, for some year and a half.
Alycha
400 shekels? Where?
Caprice
Alycha, I sent the link in a personal.

Girls, please help!
Does anyone have an instruction in Russian?

P.S. Found it in Ukrainian. No recipe book.
Caprice
Really, until now, no one has it, no one used it?
Miranda
Caprice, did you take the little one?
It seems that no one has. There is a similar Delongy (and Kenwood is a member of Delongy's group). There is a topic about her. Perhaps it will work? Well, or I can translate from Ukrainian.

Thank you, I know Ukrainian perfectly

How do you like the baby? You're happy?
While I understand.
The lid closes very tightly. This is one of the minuses. I'm a "one-armed bandit". The left hand should not be strained, but the right is an inflammation of the tendons. To be honest, if the multicooker was equipped with a stirrer and a cutter, it would be much more convenient.
Pros: apart from the base with the engine, everything else can be washed in the dishwasher
But maybe I'll still love her

Follow the link. The pot and accessories are the same as in Kenwood. The control panel is different. Although, as I understand it, the functions are the same.

May loosen over time to acceptable levels.

Quote: Caprice

In principle, the older brother is something like this.
I like that you can put a plug there and then a flat bottom, even bake. But the bowl is made of stainless steel, not nonstick / ceramic, as in the cartoons. Someone is a plus, but someone is a minus.
Caprice
No, you cannot bake in it. The maximum temperature does not allow. You can lightly simmer onions and vegetables before cooking, no more. Higher temperatures are required for baking. And the bottom is not entirely flat: there is a small pin on which a stirrer or attachment with knives is put on.
Dealing with the control panel. So far, it has not seemed very comfortable. I think I'll get used to it.
Miranda
Caprice, I'm talking about an older brother who is a big model.
There the bottom is wide, and a plug is placed instead of a pin if you want a flat bottom like in a multicooker. Well, up to 180 degrees.

Video about the first model, without wifi. But the new one has the same system. And on the attachments - the same + a long second knife, and which is improved in the video.

Caprice
I don’t want a big one. There are already enough cutters, and there is not enough space on the table already. And I don't need more volume. Small - it's compact. This won me over. It's enough to cook for three. And the cost is inexpensive: a little over $ 100 and a little less than € 100. I probably wouldn't have bought it more expensive.
Miranda
Caprice, and I like maximum functionality
And I have one 3L. multicooker. I never bought the second one. There is a 4.5 liter bowl. quite a second slow cooker, only extremely heaped up
Caprice
Miranda, to be honest, I have enough multicooker. But, they are all with 5 liter bowls. And here is less. There is also a dearly beloved blender-soup cooker. But it has fewer functions, and it is already old. There is no function in it first to chop vegetables, to simmer them a little before cooking, but the robot has it. The blender first cooks, then grinds.
There are a lot of devices, but every time there is less and less space
Miranda
Caprice, here! And I have little
One slow cooker, one kitchen machine, one small combiner, one spiralizer, one submersible blender. That's all of the electrical assistants, the rest are analog and not large. There are not even baked goods, which are like waffle irons, pizza ovens, etc., which were not mine.

These are five suede jackets, and there are not many cutters, stirrers and cookers. Big brother will suit me
(you have taken a self-persuasion course)
Caprice
Miranda, and I, just, have a lot of things. Moreover, a lot was acquired in an attack of device addiction. I'm just puzzled by the thoughts, from which I should get rid of?
Miranda
Caprice, I forgot the grinder! Now that's really all.
The multicooker can partly be duplicated with induction in the kitchen. machine, but not all, casseroles or yogurt in the kitchen. the machine cannot be done. A small combiner can be duplicated with some attachments, but also not quite. The rest is not duplicated in any way.

There was device addiction, of course, but I'm holding myself back. More precisely, it even held it back, somehow it began to decline in terms of eclectic pieces. But all sorts of forms, rugs and other cute analog nonsense are still present. I sold everything that I used a couple of times and lay for months. It seems to me that when it lies, this is the indication for sale.
Caprice
Miranda, a meat grinder is a necessary thing, no doubt. I didn't like chopping meat in a processor with knives. I'm afraid I won't be able to sell many gadgets even for cheap. Apparently, you have to give. But, like Scarlet O'Hara, I'll "think about it tomorrow"

Miranda, I figured out with baby Kenwood. It turned out to be even very convenient.
thanks for the help
Caprice
I have already prepared for them risotto, chicken in white wine with mushrooms, bell pepper and cream. And the mashed potatoes turned out to be wonderful.
Miranda
Caprice, it's great that we managed to understand and love!
Decent baby, I'm watching

Girls, no one has bought the older model? And then I'm here toil in full growth ... It is a pity to pay off money for Thermomix, but in Kiev I do not find anything worthwhile yet. Now I wander around different Amazons and think about whether to take Kenwood or Bellini ... I had Bellini in Canada, a good machine, but in Kenwood I also like the slicing function. Nobody knows how he chops minced meat?
Miranda
kikwit, like there is no owner among ours.
There is a huge number of videos, recipes for the car on YouTube / Even a couple of channels are not from the company, but simply users who bought.

I am not parting with the idea of what is next. year I will buy myself an updated version.
kikwit
And I can't wait any longer. I am crushed and squashed without such a machine ... I am so used to my Bellini, so I loved him ...
I'm going to look at the recipes. Only I still come across the majority in Spanish, and I do not understand anything except "pokito"))) If I could find the channel of an English-speaking cook, it would be very good.
zvezda
Nastya, and what do you need an interpreter for?
Miranda, I'm a whole head sick. ... I seem to have calmed down, but here again, we'll wait twenty-five ..

How do I use the translator when I watch a video? I don't know about such translators.

Is this this car?
Kenwood kCook Multi kitchen machines

To be honest, I do not share my love for similar gadgets such as Thermomix and so on. Everything I saw - with a small, narrowed to the bottom or initially narrow bowl. And almost all with a non-removable knife. That is, a kind of heated blenders.

I began to cook less often in the multicooker, only what is worse or more difficult on the stove (in the oven). Dairy, stewing, casseroles, cereals (pilaf).

In Kenwood, I liked the large, wide, non-narrowed stainless steel bowl. The ability to make an almost flat bottom by removing the knife and covering it with a pimp. Knife, and in the latest version there are two knives of different lengths. That is, he crumbled the onion and immediately fried it, continued to cook something, in the process he also dashed something there. Stirring, that is, not with a knife, but with a stirrer. Graters / shredders into the bowl during cooking, or into the counter bowl. In this case, the graters on a different motor, that is, they can work either in parallel or without the bowl. I also like the big steamer. I often do it for a couple, but always at least in two passes due to the small volume of the steamer. There is a huge basket, again not with a narrowed bottom, how much baozi can be made at once!

What I would hardly use is a whisk and beat whites, eggs, cream, etc. there. I would hardly knead the dough there, except for the dough in 21 seconds. There are hopes for a sausage emulsion knife. I saw a video of a comparison with a similar unit - due to the fact that the knife is firmly in place, it does not draw in products under itself, unlike a similar design of combines from any other brand, where the knife is placed on a pipe - the knife pulls into the space between itself and the pipe, on which is worn to a greater or lesser extent, and then it is cleaned wash.

That is, I see it as a second multicooker with advanced functionality. Then I would leave the usual one only for dairy, and everything else, plus something else that I do not do in a multicooker, because of the convenience of cutting it, I would interfere with it.

I don’t know how much Bellini costs, but if it’s comparable, then I would take Kenwood, if it’s half the price, but plus I liked it - here is the flour, yes.
kikwit
Yes, this is it. The fact is that while I lived in Canada, there was nothing to choose from. Either Thermomix, for which the toad choked to pay, or Bellini. In general, he suited me more than. Cook cocoa, mashed soup, dough for pancakes, mashed potatoes (I won't say that it was very tasty mashed potatoes, but I sin on potatoes), grind minced meat from chicken. It was possible to do without him, but he greatly facilitated my life and made my deviceaholic hamster happy. By the way, I whipped cream perfectly in it.
But Kenwood attracts me more with cutting attachments. I'm not sure if I need Smart ... I don't really like messing around with recipes on my smartphone. And the scales can be bought separately, it will be cheaper. This is how I reason. But until I bought it, there is time to think)))
They cost + -10 euros the same. This is if you do not take the Smart version. As I said, I would like to know how Kenwood threshes mince. This is an important option for me, since there is no meat grinder and is not expected.
Miranda
kikwit, in principle, you can buy a second knife for the first version. And for both versions, you can buy discs for graters. There are either 4 or 5 of them in the kit, but there are more, because it fully matches the nozzle for the kitchen. AT340 machines. The discs are not very expensive.

That is, have 3 sizes of graters, 2 sizes of shredders and 2 sizes of blocks.
Kenwood kCook Multi kitchen machines

The differences between the versions are the second knife, scales and online recipes. Well, the color is different (metallic for the second, white for the first). I do not know if they have improved something else programmatically.

Girls, to watch YouTube in foreign languages), I do this - the lower right corner, select the wheel, tap on it, options pop up, select subtitles, then choose a language convenient for you, tap on it, please bale only once) And enjoy the written ... I can’t say that the translation will be literary, but if you turn on your ingenuity, it will be quite possible to understand what is at stake.
kikwit
Tanya, you are just a fairy! Thank you very much!
Life is getting better

Miranda, this is a great option. Now I will think even harder))) I'll see a week and a half, suddenly there will be discounts for Christmas

Caprice, please tell us about your baby. I just thought that a small pot would come in handy for me))) I'm crazy ...

Yes, I looked at him all evening yesterday. It is more expensive on Amazon.

But now I look at him and I understand, a large bowl ... a very large bowl. I absolutely do not need 4.5 liters. I need a small saucepan ... You can go crazy until you decide
Mindalka
In my opinion it is quite small, will not fill to the top. This turns out to be less than in a multi by 5 liters.
So I'll tell you, it's better to let it be half full than splashing over the top. So that later it does not seem small.
kikwit
The fact is that I live alone. I should have a soup for two days, knead pancakes for myself and grind a little minced meat.
My mother also tells me that more is better than less))) Therefore, I have a 6-liter pressure cooker, of which I have a lot)))

Yesterday we received this wonderful machine from Italy. I will try and write reviews.
Kenwood kCook Multi kitchen machines

Join us and we will share our experience, and of course recipes

A few words from myself: I used Thermomix TM31 for 7 years, when I lived with my mother-in-law. As we moved to live in our house (and the technology was practically "0"), the question of buying such a car became. The choice was between TM-5 and Canwood.
Canwood outweighed by the presence of graters, a larger bowl and a lower price, and then it will be seen ...
Miranda
How did you order? Directly or through intermediaries?
gl @ murs
Ordered directly. In Italy its cost is 849 Euro, delivery within Italy is free. In England I saw 50 Euros cheaper.

On the machine itself, you can change the language to Russian, this is already good. There are instructions in both Russian and Ukrainian.
My husband hardly downloaded the application (I can't explain why yet, but if anyone needs to ask my husband and write in detail how to do it). All the recipes in the application are in English, how to change the language has not yet been understood.

While I will use recipes from Thermomix, I have a lot of them, + Internet.
If possible, I will upload photos with comments.
gl @ murs
Yesterday I cooked Carrot Pie (standard recipe for Thermomix), it turned out excellent, as always

What are the advantages of Canwood for myself:
- it is convenient that there is a transparent lid in the bowl - you can always follow the cooking / grinding process and stop when the desired consistency is reached.
- it is very convenient that the knife in the bowl can be quickly removed (without additional unscrewing, as is the case in TM) - mixed the batter and up to the last drop can be raked, the knife does not cling and does not interfere.

And one of the main reasons for which and Canwood's whitewash are graters.
There are 5 attachments in the kit: 2 pcs. slices (thick and thin), 3 pcs. graters (fine, medium, large). I tried everything on carrots. No complaints, it works fine.

Then I want to say by the sound - it works an order of magnitude quieter than TM. Doesn't scare a child who used to cover his ears so that I would kill a carrot.

Litter that without a photo, hands have not yet reached.
I'll cook something else one of these days

Today I chopped vegetables into soup soup and made mayonnaise for 1 egg (it was beaten perfectly).

Results in the photo.
I also post a couple of photos of the car itself.

On the machine itself, you can change the language to Russian, this is already good. There are instructions in both Russian and Ukrainian.
The Russian language is good news. In the first version without wifi, there are 4 or 5 languages in total. And they were going to promote this model all over the world, I read an interview with the head of the head office last year, he said there that they would promote kCook all over the world, even stronger than the induction machine. Therefore, multilingualism was immediately established. But neither Russia nor Ukraine is planning yet, they believe that it is expensive, the crisis, they will not buy.

And the application is probably not in all languages yet, right?

You can buy two more discs - different sizes of blocks.

Google by code, in Ukraine there is definitely where to buy.

kenwood KW712347 - smaller blocks.

You can ask in 🔗 they are a good service, they do not have it on the site, but if you name the code, they will bring it. They have a lot a little cheaper than in other Ukrainian. services.

I want to say the main thing, all the recipes can be adapted to the machine, the main thing is to understand the principle of its operation and the procedure for serving the ingredients and you will succeed.

I don’t like to knead the dough ... that’s how it happened, so it was important for me that she kneaded very well. I am happy with the result.

It can be seen that it is not yours
How long did they beat? Was it just whipped or meringue with temperature, etc.?

Works well! How do you want. Although I have a Kenwood Cooking chef, and it makes dough, beats the whites, and so on. But for cooking different, for sausage emulsion (I have hopes, based on the design), and much more, I would like. Would give up a food processor, shredder and all kinds of graters / shredders. I would not refuse only the nozzle of the multi-chopper (this is about duplicating functions).

But the question about the knife. There are two of them. Long (new, in the first version it is not), and shorter. It is not clear from the photo how you kneaded the dough. In the videos of various on YouTube, a long knife is recommended.
gl @ murs
Miranda, thanks for pointing out the blades, I'll look for them here. I'm not fond of sausage yet (YET).

If someone has questions, requests, write - I will check and unsubscribe.

Again, it is very convenient that you can easily and quickly remove the knives and wash the bowl well. In TM 31, certain manipulations must be carried out. The other day I discovered the set rinsing function for myself (I used to rinse by pressing the buttons while standing by the machine, now I pressed the button and it washes itself).

Until I can get used to the Cup, it is heavy (2.2 kg) and you cannot wash it with one hand, pour it out, rake it out until I can get used to it, in TM31 it is more comfortable in this regard, it has one large handle. But given that the Bowl is designed for a different volume, this is justified. It's all a matter of habit.

Yes, there are two knives
I made a photo especially for you)))
