Cooking method

  • Hello everyone!)
  • This year we dried a lot of apples and plums from our garden, dried fruits themselves are insanely delicious ~ we go and eat instead of sweets, like children, whose word!
  • Mamusin Sweet Rice (based on Donna Rosa's rice) in a Toshiba multicooker
  • And I want to put dried fruits in Pies and in porridge!
  • I have already tried to do a lot. And today I will show Rice with apples and plums, similar to what Mom did in childhood, for some reason we called it "Charlotte", in kindergarten, where I went to such rice on the Menu, they also called "Charlotte" ... I don't know why. ..
  • This recipe is nothing particularly new - there are similar ones, and yet there are nuances, partly borrowed from my Mom, partly from Donna Rosa. And in part, inspired by the capabilities and features of the Toshiba Multicooker.
  • So, turn on the "Baking" program, warm up the bowl, add a piece of butter.
  • Then we pour out our dried fruits (I did not soak them, they are elastic for me, you look at your fruits if you soak very dry ones for a while in hot water)
  • Mamusin Sweet Rice (based on Donna Rosa's rice) in a Toshiba multicooker
  • After mixing the fruit with butter and stewing for a couple of minutes, pour the wine into the bowl, add salt, sugar (I used brown sugar), cinnamon or Mulled Wine Seasoning (optional and available). Mix again.
  • We leave to simmer for about 20 minutes - while our fruits are steamed and become softer and juicier, saturated with wine and oil.
  • The smell is already going breathtaking!
  • Pour the prepared rice into a bowl, add 2.5 mstq of hot water. Mix with a spatula.
  • Mamusin Sweet Rice (based on Donna Rosa's rice) in a Toshiba multicooker
  • Disable the Baking program.
  • We expose "White Rice". In the Toshiba multicooker, this program is sensory and turns off itself as soon as the dish is completely ready!)
  • All! Then I left on the Heating for literally 10 minutes! There was no patience. Such smells soared!
  • Mamusin Sweet Rice (based on Donna Rosa's rice) in a Toshiba multicooker
  • But it would be better to let the rice cool and breathe with the lid slightly open. Eat it not hot, but warm! It tastes better and the spices will play better.
  • Try it, I hope you enjoy it.)

The dish is designed for

4 servings

Time for preparing:

1 hour

Cooking program:

Multicooker

Note

You can add more butter at the end as you wish and taste. And also a little more sugar for those who want sweeter. But we had enough sweetness!)
Next time I will try to cook with raisins, which I also dried a lot, and then I will remove the sugar altogether.

Svetul, replace it with some water ... and that's it ... there will be spices and they will give such a Cocktail with some water!))) And no wine! (This is me from Donna Rosa "learned bad" ... wine ...)))
And I suppose they don't pour wine in kindergarten ...
But the divine smell goes, and then the alcohol will react and ... evaporate ... fsio ... fi th!)))

mamusi
DonnaRosa, my version is probably not relevant for you?)))
Don't you shrink from dried fruits? Will you do it with a fresh apple?
But here's your wine idea !!!
So the dried fruits are playing! Super!
Oh, and delicious ... and I had such a Spice, but this must be careful ~ not for everybody! There are straight pieces of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, orange peel ...

mamusi, I once cooked such sweet rice pilaf. Only he was with plums, dried apricots and raisins, without wine. I cooked in a pot on the fire, then there were no multicooker at all.
There is wine, plums and raisins too. You can add wine, try with dried fruits.
Only rice I've been buying only round for a long time.

By the way! Dried apricots ~ this is an idea ...

Right now I'm eating and ... I realized that the Seasoning, perhaps too much !!! I got a very spicy "sweet pilaf"!
He stood and the spices were even brighter, I like cinnamon and orange. But the carnation ~ no!
Conclusion: for the next time I put everything separately, and not assembled. I don't want a clove. I used to always get by with cinnamon!

Margarita, this is most likely sweet pilaf, but not charlotte. I really liked sweet pilaf in d / s

I make sweet pilaf. It has a completely different composition: rice, dried apricots, prunes, raisins, carrots, water and sunflowers. oil.
