Ingredients

Butter dough:
Wheat flour 250 g
Milk 125 g
Dry yeast 3 g
Sugar 20 g
Salt 5 g
Butter 30 g
Egg 1 PC.
Bechamel sauce:
Butter 20 g
Wheat flour 20 g
Milk 100 g
Cream 10% 100 g
Salt, black pepper
Smoked bacon 200 g
Lubricating egg 1 PC.
Grated cheese 100 g

Cooking method

  • Unusual pastries are unusual and delicious. After all, there is smoked bacon, creamy Bechamel sauce, baked cheese - and all this wealth is located on the pastry! How can you refuse such a hearty envelope for lunch or dinner? Anyway, just like that, how can you deny yourself such a pleasure ?!
  • Butter dough:
  • Envelope with bacon and bechamel sift the bowl of the combine with wheat flour, sugar, and yeast. Mix - just a couple of hand waves. Add salt. Yeast does not like direct contact with salt, so we do not throw them away immediately.

  • Envelope with bacon and bechamelKnead the dough at medium speed for 7-8 minutes using the "hook" attachment, gradually adding butter in portions. The dough will be quite sticky, but it will have gathered into a ball at the end of the batch.
  • Envelope with bacon and bechamelWe shift the dough into a greased container, cover and wait for an increase of 1.5-2 p. (about 2 hours, depending on room temperature). Or, for cold proofing, we send the covered container with the dough to the refrigerator for 8-36 hours.

  • Bechamel sauce:
  • Envelope with bacon and bechamelMelt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Envelope with bacon and bechamelWhen the butter is melted, add flour and mix thoroughly until smooth.
  • Envelope with bacon and bechamelWithout stopping to interfere, we introduce cream. Cook, stirring for about 2 minutes, until thickened.
  • Envelope with bacon and bechamelAdd salt to the sauce, black pepper to taste. We mix. The sauce is ready. Cool to room temperature.

    cut into rectangular portions measuring 6x12 cm.

  • Envelope with bacon and bechamel Bake envelopes for about 15-20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200C. The finished envelopes are dark golden in color.
  • Cool on the wire rack. Serve warm.
